POPS The Selfless Philanderer And then she spoils it all by wearing that hideous green dress! I’m sure you’ve seen the hilariously disturbing You Tube video of McCain checking out Palin’s ass, all the while fiddling with his wedding ring. In light of the recent allegations of Palin’s own infidelity, Cindy just better watch her scary self. When you marry a philanderer you get, well a philanderer. Good luck with that, honey!

POPSA pit bull with lipstick is a good thing? Why would anyone want to refer to themselves as a pit bull with lipstick? Is that some kind of endearing quality? Is that some kind of characteristic we want in our leadership? I just don't get it. Pit bulls are notorious for attacking innocent bystanders (often children) with fierce vengeance - that's certainly their stigma at least. So why in the world is it something that a potential President of the United States would be proud of comparing herself to? Personally, i find it very scary that she would say that and i honestly find it scary that a room full of people would stand up and cheer the idea.

POPSDon't "Give A Give A Give A Garmin" (h/t Indiana Law Blog) I'm a lover of all things that are gadgets, and GPS toys are a favorite of mine, but this article discusses the use of GPS data from a defendant's Garmin device. Eric Hanson had evidence introduced by prosecutors in his murder trial was used to pinpoint his location on the morning of the crime. Score one for the prosecutors on this front. I suspect we will begin to see more of this sooner rather than later. GPS chips are installed on all new cell phones now. My new phone I recently picked up has builtin GPS navigation software which is brilliant, but knowing that the boys at the NSA's Fort Meade, MD SIGINT farm can pinpoint my location anytime they want is kind of scary.

POPSSamatha Got Knifed She go stabbed by someone who meticulously skin a rabbit and cut it half leaving a perfect schull and a spinal cord attched to its legs. My dog was impaled by a sharp 2 inch blade - it was clean - if my German Shepard hadn't appeared barking and jumping hysterically I fear what could of happened. By the time I got out side no one was around but our little rows of little houses with gardens & primed lawns, pools & BQ's there is a psychotic person budding and coming into his or hers own. Very scary. Lock your doors neighbors. BTW my dogs have killed rabbits & squirrels but they kill them leaving teeth marks ,once the belly was torn. They always just want to show me- look what I got you. Not this time, they were hesitant to go near it. something freaky happened out there in my backyard. Wow, that's heavy, almost too much to process. Be Cognitive THINK And please - PEACE NOW

POPS Robots and Humans: Intel say equal by 2050
Robots: From the Factory Floor to Your Kitchen - Robots today are primarily used in the factory environment, designed to perform a single task repeatedly and bolted down. To make robotics personal, robots need to move and manipulate objects in cluttered and dynamic human environments, according to Rattner. They need to be cognizant of their surroundings by sensing and recognizing movement in a dynamic physical world, and learn to adapt to new scenarios. Rattner demonstrated two working personal robot prototypes developed at Intel’s research labs. One of the demonstrations showed electric field pre-touch that has been built into a robot hand. The technique is a novel sensing modality used by fish but not humans, so they can “feel” objects before they even touch them. The other demonstration was a complete autonomous mobile manipulation robot that can recognize faces and interpret and execute commands as generic as “please clean this mess” using state-of-the-art motion planning, manipula

POPSSeven Common Dreams and What They Mean Missing an important event because you are late. This can indicate regret over a missed opportunity, inability to make a connection, or desire to pull oneself together. In Dream Power: How to Use Your Night Dreams to Change Your Life, Cynthia Richmond suggests asking questions of dreams in order to understand what this common symbol means to you. For example: What are you missing? Who is disappointed by the missed event? Is it only you or are there others involved?
