POPSA Prespective on Megachurches I found this in a comment in one of the blogs I read. I found it incredibly fascinating. Megachurches are more like Walmart, and small churches are like those mom-and-pop stores which are threatened. Interesting.

POPSLanguage of the week: Russian I wanted to start this new blog to help people who visit other countries and cultures to get the best out of those places. A knowledge of a language, however small, always helps you an incredible amount when visiting another country.

POPS400 Sickened By Bromide Poisoning Vaccinations maybe? Pesticides? Secret experiments on humans? Population control? I'm not a conspiracy theorist (*LOL*), so perhaps it's *just* poisonous toys from China or something. Strange. Bromide compounds, especially potassium bromide, were frequently used as sedatives in the 19th and early 20th century. ------------ It has been rumoured (in particular, by British troops during world War II, who believed it was regularly added to their tea) that bromide can reduce incidence of erections for males ------------ Bromide is also used in hot tubs and spas as a germicidal agent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bromide

POPSNeed a Nap ? Try a Pod Their research has found that 40 million Americans suffer yearly from chronic sleep disorders, and an additional 20 million complain of occasional sleeping problem.. For some of us, it just means dark circles under our eyes and a desperate need for triple-caffeinated products. But the reality is that over the long haul, trouble with sleep can cause bigger problems. For some people, the answer might be to just buy some. Yes, sleep has now joined the ranks of those products we at one time thought we would never have to pay for, like water. Spas across the country have now added this new nap therapy to their offerings, so along with facials, waxing and massages, you can now grab some Z's for about a dollar a minute.
