POPS'Goddess' swimsuit now a diplomatic issue
Photographs of the model in the Lisa Blue swimwear show sparked outrage in India over the weekend. Demonstrators burnt Australian flags, religious figures demanded apologies and the label's Facebook page became the site of furious debate. Ms Burke issued numerous statements apologising for any offence the print had caused and said Lisa Blue would not produce the swimsuit as part of its collection. But the whale-loving designer's woes continue; she has been forced to contact Facebook's administrators over a number of fake Lisa Blue accounts that sprang up on the social networking site this week. "The issue was, similarly, taken up by our consulate general in Sydney with the fashion designer." The Department of Foreign of Affairs and Trade could not immediately confirm the complaint with high commission staff, due to the time difference. The site itself has become a forum for debate over whether sections of the Indian community overreacted to the swimsuit.

POPSAn extreme microkini is really pushing the bikini to the extreme. An extreme microkini is really pushing the bikini to the extreme. It entails the use of the least, least, least amount of fabric as humanly possible. Some people call it the pubkini, “pub” being short for “pubic.” The fabric, or lack thereof, borders already on the indecent, and as you can imagine, the most common wearers of this type of swimsuit are adult film stars. In fact, many websites who sell extreme swimwear sometimes tap icons of the porn industry to model their creations. Some of the websites have photos of models so provocative and daring that they have a disclaimer on their homepage warning the viewer that their site contains adult material.

POPSSaudi girl crowned Miss Moral Beauty This is absolutely nuts. So let me get this straight, those who did not win this competition and those who don't cover their face qualify for the title of miss immoral ugliness? How is participating in a beauty pageant represents modesty or morality and why add to social pressures of labeling or shaming. You can never judge inner beauty through interviews or how you are viewed in society. Arabs needs to have their heads examined.
