POPSTroopergate Witness Flips - Admits To Getting Pressure From Palins Branchflower’s report is due to be released on October 10th. Let the countdown to truth begin. "Wilkes has a $1.2 million contract with the state to handle workers compensation claims. Her contract with the state was up but her firm was recently given a new contract despite the fact that there were others who provided the state with a lower bid than Wilkes’s firm. One of the other applicants who submitted a lower bid has appealed the decision. Wilkes told Branchflower she believed it was impressed upon her from Palin’s office that she would lose the contract if she did not deny the claim, state officials knowledgeable about her testimony said."

POPSBill Clinton Agrees That Democrats To Blame For Crisis Sept. 25, 2008, A Day That Will Be Recorded In History: With incentives in place, banks poured billions of dollars of loans into poor communities, often "no doc" and "no income" loans that required no money down and no verification of income. By 2007, Fannie and Freddie owned or guaranteed nearly half of the $12 trillion U.S. mortgage market -- a staggering exposure. Worse still was the cronyism. Fannie and Freddie became home to out-of-work politicians, mostly Clinton Democrats. An informal survey of their top officials shows a roughly 2-to-1 dominance of Democrats over Republicans. Then there were the campaign donations. From 1989 to 2008, some 384 politicians got their tip jars filled by Fannie and Freddie: #1 Senator Dodd #2 Senator Obama

POPSGiant Red Stars set a new Standard The most common red giants are the so-called red giant branch stars (RGB stars) whose shells are still fusing hydrogen into helium, while the core is inactive helium. Prominent bright red giants in the night sky include Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri), Arcturus (Alpha Bootis), and Gamma Crucis (Gacrux), while the even larger Antares (Alpha Scorpii) and Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis) are red supergiants.

POPSTHE SHIT PEDDLERS All the myths that are floated as truth, is nauseating beyond the puke bucket. The right-winged, learned ones who perhaps didn't sleep through all of their college courses, whip out the dialogue of mendacity every time they are threatened to be overthrown by THE OTHER PARTY. Oh they keep their fairytale myths alive all through their years of control but election time is when they really roll up their sleeves and get the SHIT shovels lined up to cover us all in blankets of Repulsive Untruths against our common senses and THE OTHER PARTY. I picked up a newspaper belonging to a red bible belt area where many of the followers or better word SHEEP live and who desperately want to believe the crap their Right-winged commanders spew forth, even if it doesn't quite make sense to them. POPSOnce Endangered, Now Recovering hunters were taking the canary-yellow young langurs from their cliff-face strongholds, and villagers were leveling the forest for firewood. Dr. Pan quickly hired wardens to protect the remaining animals but then went a step further, taking on the larger social and economic factors jeopardizing the species. Dr. Pan recognized the animal’s origin myth as legend, but he also believed that alleviating the region’s continuing poverty was essential for their long-term survival. In the 24-square-kilometer nature reserve where he has focused his studies, the langur population increased to more than 500 today from 96 in 1996.

POPS"Happy Days" Home Buyers Get Mortgages --- Politicians Get Reelected Democrats — and their community organizer “constituencies” — argued that it was “discriminatory” for banks to deny mortgages and business loans to people with poor collateral, poor credit, and dubious ability to repay their loans. Legislators replaced common sense with gouts of political oration about “redlining inner city communities,” “racist banking practices,” and other electioneering formulations that protected incumbency, but shoved bank solvency to the end of a bending limb. The CRA allowed legislators to bully banks into loaning money to people who simply weren’t credit-worthy. The only “collateral” they possessed was electoral: They could repay Democratic lawmakers on Election Day. Now, let’s fast-forward to 1993, when the Clinton administration further liberalized (a.k.a. “reformed”) the already anemic lending restraints of the CRA and created the President’s Community Development Bank, which “…

POPSVornado TouchStone Vortex Heater Like most rental housing in northern California, our apartment lacks much insulation and has one centrally-located, inadequate wall heater. We've found that a space heater works much better, and this one looks a lot nicer than the one we currently have.

POPSSeeing Through Obamanomics
Obama claims his proposal would lower taxes for 95 percent of Americans, but well over 43 million tax returns, one-third of all those filed, already reflect an income tax liability of zero. In fact, Obama says, his plan would eliminate income taxes for an additional 10 million taxpayers. What he is really proposing, therefore, is not tax relief but a bald transfer of cash - $1,000 per family, he pledges - from the wealthiest Americans to everyone else. Just last year, Hillary Clinton suggested that the government start off every new baby with a $5,000 savings account. Voters didn't take the bait when Clinton offered it. Here's betting they won't take it now. Why not? Because you don't have to be rich to be skeptical when a candidate argues that the top 1 percent of taxpayers, who already pay 40 percent of federal income taxes, aren't being taxed enough. Obamanomics may look pretty at first glance. But voters are focusing more closely now, and they can see beyond the lipstick.

POPSOuch!... Palin Slams Obama On His Ridiculous Surge Stands Experienced Governor Palin blasted him on his surge stands today: Watch MSNBC video at site: http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/09/ouch-palin-slams-obama-on-his.html In more bad news for the democratic media conglomerate-- 10,000 subscribers called Us magazine to cancel their subscriptions after their hit piece on Sarah Palin. Hat Tip Andy B. And, Patrick corrected my earlier numbers... Over 40 million watched Sarah Palin on Wednesday not 37 million. The Nielsen ratings showed that Palin attracted a huge female audience of 19.5 million women, nearly 5 million larger than the third day of the Democratic convention when Hillary Clinton spoke. Sarah better look out. The media is hot on her tail and not because they like her. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/09/one-is-two-palin-now-more-popular-than.html

POPSNews Flash John McCain.... Women are not interchangeable... One size fits all.... I hope women will not vote with anger and throw their important vote away (and our country) in anger. Too much is at stake, our health, education, and future competitiveness in a Global Economy, not to mention the endless wars that we have contributed to in our apathy and foolishness.
