POPSBlackwater Busted, Prince Has "Compliance Challenges" Makes one smile. The arrogant Prince of Blackwater just got nailed with a big fine from the same corrupt Federal government they contracted with. The "war on terrorism" is so profitable. What happened to all the hardware that ended up on the black market in Iraq? (Someone knows). "Compliance challenges", he says. More like rogue operations. This is the same company that shoots whoever is in the area and quickly leaves, whose crimes even U.S. military personnel have reported. Dirty mercenaries are never held accountable for war crimes because they are independent contractors. This is the least the State Dept has on them, just the tip of the proverbial ice berg. Iraq wants to try them there.

POPSThe Treatment of Bush Has Been a Disgrace (?????) hahahahahahahahaha---this guy is so delusional...with all the damage Bush has done and is STIL tryin to do with his latest round of environmental deregulations designed to profit his cronies, I find it impossible to show him any respect whatsoever--He has no regard for people or the Earth! He should be prosecuted for war crimes and other felonies that he and Cheney have committed, not defended by this bozo.

POPSIsraeli Blockade Creates Food Shortages in Gaza
Collective punishment. War crime. 1.4 million peope & refuges being slowly starved to death in front of the eyes of the world. THIS IS NOT POLITICS. THIS IS NOT WAR. THIS IS GENOCIDE. Unfortuntely almost all USA politicians have sold out to the policies of Israel. Starving a million and a half people to death is okay but criticizing the Jewish State is not. Sold out, by the way, for a worse deal that Judas' 30 shekels of silver; they get maybe $100K and vote for Israel getting billions. They also get re-elected which, apparently they feel they achieve without the support of Jewish lobbies, like AIPAC, American Enterprise Institute and dozens of others. Why can we do? Maybe try to get the case to the World Court? -- But the U.S. would certainly veto it. (as with so many other attempts to bring justice to Israel's war crimes). Maybe churches? But many also think you can't criticize Israel; bizarre. It helps see why Pontius Pilate could only wash his hands of t

POPSCitizens Will Risk Arrest to Bring Indictment of Bush and Cheney In April 2008, Obama said that as president he would indeed ask his new Attorney General and his deputies to "immediately review the information that's already there" and determine if an inquiry is warranted. It is the responsibility of citizens to make sure this happens. Chief Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Tribunals following World War II, stated, "let me make clear that while this law is first applied against German aggressors, the law includes, and if it is to serve a useful purpose it must condemn aggression by any other nations, including those which sit here now in judgement." It is time, no matter who becomes our next president, to bring the criminals of the Bush regime to justice. We, the people, have the power and we can restore justice. Our group would include someone who was directly affected by the illegal invasion of Iraq.

POPSGeorgia accused of targeting civilians Revenge The BBC saw evidence of the cycle of revenge since the war, with the demolition of most houses in the former ethnic Georgian villages on the northern outskirts of Tskhinvali. Zaur Gagloyev (photo: Alan Tskhurbayev, Institute of War and Peace Reporting) No, it wasn't ethnic cleansing... we just let them go from our land Zaur Gagloyev The houses, whose occupants fled during the war to other parts of Georgia, were burnt by Ossetians immediately after the fighting.

POPSIraq Condemns U.S. - Demands Quick Withdrawal
It's clearer now that Bush's false war for false reasons is going down the toilet. It seems one of the oldest civilizations in the world is not falling for USA junk food treaties. Apparently the people who started the skill of writing can read. There's much more to this story/clip than just the headline: all big time, bad news for Bush. For what the Bush Administration and military wanted: The rest of the article is even worse, . #1. Iraq wants U.S. troops out by the end of 2009. It how now firmly rejected a clause the U.S. Military wanted, an option to extend the occupation to 2011. #2 It wants sole discretion to put U.S. soldiers on trial for any crimes they might commit -- something the U.S. will never agree to. #3. It wants to inspect U.S. military shipments into Iraq, another things the U.S. military or Navy would never agree to. These terms, right here in this clip, spell out F-A-I-L-U-R-E for Bush's War in Iraq and it's ongoing scams for Oil. It'

POPSEverything he touches... Our president that is... I am for the ethical treatment of prisoners: no matter who they are or what they've done. Our morality doesn't depend on the actions of others (no matter how henous). That's part of the very definition of morality. But our "moral" president has likely made it difficult, if not impossible to prosecute some of these people... Some that are likely a real threat. Chock it up to incompetence... once again.

POPSRepublican Rallies Now Sound like the KKK The clip from the New York Times reports someone at a Palin rally urging killing Barrack Obama, others calling Obama a 'traitor," -- Palin associating him with domestic terrorist...and an Afro-American TV reporter being hassled by the crowd. If we let these Republicans win again these are the types of people we'd be continuing to let rule and mislead our country. I urge their defeat not just in the elections next month, but the elections after that and the election after that until their party is driven into extinction. This will not only help our country but "send the message," that you shouldn't mislead and lie a nation into war, you can't commit war crimes, you can't shred the Constitution, you can't destroy our economy and give away money to the banks while people life savings are stolen. KKK America in power again? Not on my watch. Not while I still have breath. And I hope, sincerely hope, you feel the same. Vote Obama. Defeat Republicans.

POPSDivisive politics is anti-American-Olbermann
Good video summary of of the vile and dangerous trash talk of the neocon, neofascist Republican party candidates, officials, and some of their supporters at rallies With thug, un-American tactics they accuse Obama of being 'un-American - and they have done to any other critics of the last eight years of the nightmare of the Bush Administration. What are "un-American," tactics? -- Well, the majority of us think we have the right to speak what we want and not get threatened with death, and the right to challenge leaders who are the real "false patriots," hiding behind the flag or the cross (or David's star). Using words to spread lies, divisiveness, hate and fear is what I'd consider "un-American," I think Bush is a fascist, 4excample, but I don't try to shut down his speaking; I don't threaten his life; I just want to vote him out of office and urge his trial for war crimes. That's using the tool of democracy and seeking justice through the courts.

POPSTortue: Direct Authorizations from White House Revealed
Torture is against Internation law In March 2008 Bush vetoed Congressional legislation outlawing torture. New legislation was later passed officially approving waterboarding & other modes of torture (John McCain voted in favor of this approval) Approving torture and approving totally allowed spying on citizens without specific warrants or reasons are two fatall steps towards full-fledged fascism. This documentation of these White House memos would document Bush/Cheney & other White Houses officials of war crimes OR complicity in war crimes. If these officials can get away with this now, not only does the corruption and descent of our nation deepen now but makes it more probably that such evils will happen in the future. (Having private armies is another classic step down the road to fascism -- like Blackwater, like other "private security contractors.") Ruling by fear and lies, etc. The legacy of George Bush will be that he's the first president to be tried for

POPSGuantanamo prosecutor who quit had 'grave misgivings' about fairness Cont.... Vandeveld is at least the fourth prosecutor to resign under protest. Questions about the fairness of the tribunals have been raised by the very people charged with conducting them, according to legal experts, human rights observers and current and former military officials. Vandeveld's claims are particularly explosive. In a declaration and subsequent testimony, he said the U.S. government was not providing defense lawyers with the evidence it had against their clients, including exculpatory information -- material considered helpful to the defense.

POPSNuns, Congressional candidate, Declared to be Terrorist.
This is what happens when you begin spying on all citizens without need for warrants or any controls at all, which has been typical of the Bush White House. Things like approving torture, holding prisoners in jail for years and years -- indefinite detention -- deprived of all legal rights, not allowed to communicate with their families who might not even know where they went, deprived of visits even from the Red Cross. It's one step at a time. It's doing things like this we've never done before -- war crimes. First to foreigners, then it seeps into doing it to your own. Easily done, next, one candidate for Congress arranges to get another candidate for Congress put on the list. Someone in office doesn't like someone: Put him on the list, etc. Spy on nun's because they're against the death penality. Spy on other political views you don't like - even though the people involved Have Absolutely Nothing To Do With Violence or Terrorism. Step by step into real fascism. Vote

POPSS&M Porn Illegal-Real Life Torture-OK! But for our highest government officials, including the ones responsible for this prosecution, we have a different story altogether. In 2002, the Bush DOJ radically re-defined "torture" and illegal treatment of detainees to exclude anything that falls short of "the pain accompanying serious physical injury, such as organ failure, impairment of bodily function, or even death." The DOJ's John Yoo even decreed that the President could legally order "'scalding water, corrosive acid or caustic substance' thrown on a prisoner" and possibly even "slitting an ear, nose or lip, or disabling a tongue or limb."

POPS4 arrested at Kent State anti-war march "I'm pleasantly astounded by these kids today," said Arthrell, a teacher in the Cleveland City Schools. "They're really making a stand for a better world ... This is democracy's finest moment, when people take the initiative to change something on their own." There is an eerie similarity between 1970 and 2008. While I searched for yesterdays clip, I found articles about Viet Nam casualties, civilian deaths, Nixon's crimes. Substitute Iraq for Viet Nam and it all seems the same.

POPSAll Polls Indicate: Obama Wins Second Debate
Poll numbers and respectable expert opinion is overwhelming - but Obama's growing lead in the Electoral Collage growing by leaps and bounds. He's now estimated to have 264 electoral votes while McCain is estimated to only have less than 180. Yet a lot of talking heads yawn, say it was boring, or pretend that the baseball play-offs are more important (an effort at trivializing Obama's victories) -- and they continue to report smear and slander advertising campaigns against Obama as if it was news. As if a womanizer, crap shooter, ego manic ex-fly boy who confessed to war crimes in Vietnam and pleaded for special treatment when a POW is a better choice? There were real heroes in Vietnam but he wasn't one of them. And despite Vietnam being another undeclared war built on lies a soldier is suppose to be loyal and not give aid to the enemy. At least the smear, above, is based on truth; and we can't lose this election because Republican throw more *hit. BTW, debate a bit b

POPSAverting our gaze from U.S. cruelty This article examines the depravity with which the Bush adminsitration has conducted itself since 9/11. It asks some very important questions. But the biggest question to me is why the hell is Bush and his henchmen not being tried for war crimes?
