Ahmadinejad Offers Obama Landmark Congratulations
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  11-6-2008
That policy, Ahmadinejad claimed, was "based on warmongering, occupation, bullying, deception and humiliation, as well as discrimination and unfair relations" and has led to "hatred of all nations and majority of governments toward the U.S. leaders." Ahmadinejad also said that Obama is expected to replace such a policy with "an approach based on justice and respect, as well as lack of intervention in the affairs of others." Iranians will welcome such changes, Ahmadinejad added. Saeed Leilaz, an independent analyst in Tehran, said Ahmadinejad's message was a "positive step" that now leaves Washington with the responsibility for the next one. Leilaz added he believes Obama's victory will "weaken radicalism" in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and North Korea.

Split Over Russia Grows in Europe, Re: Missiles. Georgia
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  11-8-2008
Russia moving up missiles to their border with Poland (in response to the USA missile base being built there) is no joke. The Russians have also said they have re-targeted their nukes to aim at European cities. This is no joke. Russia is right, imo, and it won't backdown. It can't let a warmongering nation like the U.S. A. put a nuke missile base right on it's border. This is like the Cuban missile crisis of the 60's, except the shoe is on the other foot - and full-tilt nuclear war was threatened. Is anybody in Europe reading this news? What are they going to do? I think hundreds of thousands of their lives are in danger and don't hear much talk or anything be done about it? Obama won't do anything on his own. (long story) IMO, if the people in Europe don't stop this U.S. missile base nobody else will and they are in grave danger. The missile base in Poland, btw, -- for the real joke...the USA claims is to protect against nuke missiles from Iran That mak

This film is thoughtcrime. By rights, it should not exist, and a decade ago could never have been made. Yet it keeps the laughs rolling while enlisting some of the industry’s biggest talents to expose every pseudo-intellectual pillar of Hollywood wisdom about the War on Terror – Samizdat with a smile. It should be celebrated on those grounds alone. Cast (in credits order) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1190617/fullcredits#cast

Neocons and the truth: Bitter enemies to the end

From the article: In late 2006, I wrote about virtually identical deceit from this same group, that time with regard to Iraq. On National Review in December of 2006, Ledeen -- just as the Beltway establishment was finally turning against the war in Iraq and in the wake of a lengthy Vanity Fair article identifying the neocons who were to blame -- claimed: "I opposed the military invasion of Iraq before it took place."

It's not hard to believe they did this; it's just hard to believe they were so brazen about it as well as the fact they got instantly caught. Reporters are not only phoney, or setup 'plants,' in a White House audience, but make great spies too. Educators used this way also. Charities, like Save the Children currently operating in Afghanistan; members of the Peace Corp or America Corp and every way possible. Warmongering and greed cause a corruption that spreads throught 'the system,' and the very fabric of all our lives. http://americancitizenstogether.org

Warmongering President is PSYCHOTIC. Which?
righthand
by righthand  10-29-2007    4
"The message: Fall into line with administration policy toward Iran or you can count on the U.S.A. to try to start World War III on its own. And when it comes to sparking global conflagration, a U.S. attack on Iran might be just the thing. Yee haw! "You'd better believe these guys would do it too. Why not? They have nothing to lose -- they're out of office in 15 months anyway. "But all this creates a conundrum. What's a constitutional democracy to do when the president and vice president lose their marbles?" ...AlterNet Posted October 29, 2007.

President above the law, Nominee for US Attorney General says
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  10-19-2007    14
This warmongering White House just keeps unraveling our Constitution, our principle, our ideals, our society and our politics day after day. A common idea we use to have, for example, was that "No man is above the law." But apparently this nominee thinks the President is above the law. And the talk is still how he's suppose to be approved!? Screw him. Screw any politician who votes for him. Of course in the real world we all know that the rich, if not 'above the law,' normally have a 'better,' law, better results with the law, better lawyers, special consideration. So too big names, celebrities, Hollywood stars. Most of US prisons, for example, are overpopulated with the poor, the least educated and the minorities. (The USA has the biggest prison populations in the world, BTW, by %) The audaciousness of these warmongers. Theyshoot you in the face and expect/get the victim to apologize for being there (a Cheney factual example). Well...no longer a good country. Hopefully

Fear and Loathing in Middle America

More: Lucky for us, Bageant didn't hop on the next plane back west, and didn't chalk it all up to a terrible, misconstrued nostalgia. Instead, he stuck to his guns -- literally -- and tried to understand why people in his part of the country, people he genuinely loves despite his utter detestation of their politics, are so dyed-in-the-wool conservative that it'd take the Apocalypse to prize them away from supporting George W. Bush. "In the days before the spine of the labor movement was crushed, back when you could be a gun owner and a liberal without any conflict, members of the political left supported these workers, stood on the lines taking beatings at the plant gates alongside them," he argues. "Now there is practically no labor movement, and large numbers on the left are comfortably ensconced in the true middle class... From that vantage point, liberals currently view working whites as angry, warmongering bigots, happy pawns of the American empire -- which begs the questions

On the 16th of January, an Israeli soldier shot his nine year old daughter, Abir, in the head as she was leaving school to go home. The soldier will not spend an hour in jail. In Israel, soldiers are not imprisoned for killing Arabs. Never. It does not matter whether the Arabs are young or old, real or potential terrorists, peaceful demonstrators or stone throwers. The army has not conducted an inquiry in Abir Aramin's death. The police and the courts have questioned no one except for Abir's sister, who was holding her hand while she was falling. The young sister was asked time and again how many meters were they from the school gate, from the kiosk, from the jeep.

Republicans Refuse to give troops a decent break.
citizenbfk

I think I got this headline right. US Senator Jim Webb is one of the few in Congress who was actually in a war. Using the National Guard to fight in a foreign war in the first place is a rip off; now coldly denying them a decent time to re-connect to their homes and ready for the next in an endless series of deployments, is a cold-hearted action by Congress towards it's own people and shows that it is these warmongering Republicans who -- based on this one vote alone -- can be seen as Not Supporting Our Troops. (Who actually, BTW, besides these Republicans todays, is NOT keen on supporting our troops!? Just more propaganda bullshit). And now it seems, again, that we have even lost majority rule!? What this things about needing 60-votes to get something passed. As we see by the vote here, if we went back to majority rule this amendment would be passed. How come 60 votes weren't required when the Republicans controlled Congress. This whole situations sucks. I bet Senator W

A few days ago the first bomb went off right inside the Iraq Parliment building in the most secure Green Zone of USA occupation in Baghdad. This new today. More news tomorrow. And we're suppose to give this lying stinking president and his lying stinking corrupt officials any trust? any credit? for anything? Impeach both Bush and Cheney (Cheney first). Recall all Republican governors in those seven (7) states where possible. Work and vote for a Democrat for President in 2008. Vote against every Republican Senate or House candidate on the ballot. They we can look forward to a better country, without these warmongering draft-dodgers wrapping their corruption in our American flag and their phony claims of God on Their Side. We all should be as outraged as possible. We deserve tobe as outraged as possible. We need to do these things mentioned here, now, for ourselves and for our children. Ten More Years for the Surge to Work?

by citizenbfk  6-18-2007
This whole article is worth it, along with the 200 comments it's gotten in half a day. I believe a serious, legal, democratic challenge to the Status Quo needs to be made by the direct action of people: Start Recall Drives against Republican governors, since Republicans are the most warmongering party, since the White House contines to talk and act on expanding the wars in the Middle East and Iran, and since our politicians refuse to start impeachments (Cheney first!). I wish my state was one of the seven where this is possible, but it is not. For more details, check out: http;//www.americancitizenstogether.org

It seems that Holy Joe has finally crossed the line from someone who war supporters felt had the right views for protecting America into someone who even they say has gone too far in advocating war with Iran. The guy is totally over the top. He has been determined to work with the neo-Cons who believe in the PNAC and is always way to interested in protecting Israel over and above his interest in his own country, the USA. I support Israel as well, but not over the interests of my own country. The guy has become a Zionist fanatic.
