POPSBut it's been this way from '01... Bush and the neocons were -- and are -- Bin Laden's wet-dream... While I personally beleive there are Islamic nuts out there who understand nothing but violence -- when considering the big picture, our policies have fostered rather than hurt Al Qada.

POPSMcCain for President I love Krauthammer. You never have to wonder what he really believes. He places his feelings/emotions aside and views the plain facts that we face between our two choices for the Presidency. We can have a rookie at the helm which his own VP choice recognizes will make us vulnerable, a puppet manipulated by questionable (even unknown) puppeteers or a person with knowledge and experience of what is actually going on in the world?

POPSMcCain Raises Fear of Nuclear Shootout with Russia
In 1962 was "The Cuban Missile Crisis," when President John Kenney got on TV and publicly announced that if the Russian used any one single one of their nuclear missiles in Cuba that the United States would launch a full-scale nuclear attack against the Soviet Union. McCain was there. Apparently he would like to be there again, an assigned target, on the deck of his aircraft carrier, go to go. Do we really want this flyboy in office!? Another old John Wayne cowboy acting out his wet dreams in public!? It's scary. People in the States in 62 freaked out. They woke up everyday wondering if this was going to be the day the world would end, had we got to the point of nuclear annihilation at last. Funny enough (ha ha) the USA (and now Europe) are in a similar missile bases crisis. The USA is building a missile base in Poland, on the Russia border. Russia has said: "Remove those missiles or we will attack." (yes...yes they have). Now...do you want McCain or Obama in charge a

POPSThe mystery of moving rocks is yet to be revealed... "Over the years there were many speculations and possible explanations made on how the stones move, ranging from supernatural to very complex. Most hypotheses favored by interested geologists posit that strong winds when the mud is wet are at least in part responsible. But some stones weigh as much as a human, which some researchers feel is too heavy for the area's wind to move. They maintain that ice sheets around the stones either help to catch the wind or move in ice flows. But both theories don't explain how two rocks right next to each other could go in two opposite directions or one could stay put while the one three times the size, doesn't. So far every attempt of explanation has been insufficient and purely assumptive. The mystery of moving rocks is yet to be revealed".

POPSNew fungi species unearthed in UK Another report suggests it is a mutation of the "toe jam" breeding on unclean, new age soccer players. These new age soccer players regularly leave their socks outside at night and the spore from the mutated has spread and adapted to local demands.

POPSWhy save the Everglades? McCain has been busy courting land developers who want to trample on the Everglades. Al Hoffman, a top fund raiser for McCain was the head of a group of developers who filed a legal challenge seeking to block the restoration project. At the time of the challenge, Hoffman believed that development of the Everglades was inevitable: “You can’t stop it…There’s no power on earth that can stop it!…It’s an inevitable tidal wave!“ http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2008/06/05/after-standing-against-everglades-restoration-mccain-visits-park-to-bolster-environmental-credentials/

POPSAmerica recruits Immigrants
plowed and planted for the first time, yielded bumper crops. Promoters made the most of it ... most of these efforts came to nothing. Factory workers weren't farmers, and even those who might try it could rarely afford it. Land itself was cheap, but getting to it, getting started, and surviving for the five years required to get title to a homestead cost money that most of them didn't have. "Prospects seemed better overseas. The Hebrew Emigrant Aid Society recruited Jewish immigrants from eastern Europe to establish farming communes in Oregon, Colorado, Kansas, and the Dakotas. The First Swedish Agricultural and Galesburg Colonization Companies started the towns of Salemsborg and Lindsborg in Kansas. Small groups of Dutch, French, Bohemian, English, and Irish families scattered across the Plains. Two hundred Scottish families settled together on the Kansas-Nebraska border. By 1875, more than half of Nebraska's 123,000 settlers were members of families headed by
