POPSLuxury Travel in the Down Economy? This article from USA Today argues that the down economy has yet to hurt luxury travel. I've heard the same thing in interviews with multiple sources, but it's still tough to quantify the luxury travel trend. When I spoke with Peter Yesawich, of the research firm Ypartnership, he said the only income bracket to remain unaffected is the top 1% of American households with adjusted gross incomes of $364,000. That's a very small group of people.
