POPSAtheism, a positive pillar Some clips from an article about a group of atheists attempting to wise up the bigots about their humanity. Wouldn't be hard to show, but a lot of ignorance woven into the culture of religion, to overcome.

POPSThe Greenhouse Gas That Nobody Knew It's like eating mushrooms. You would soon be dead if you ate every mushroom that you didn't know was poisonous or not. The only sensible way to eat mushrooms is to only eat those you already know are not poisonous. Intelligent beings use the precautionary principle, business and technological innovators eat any mushroom / chemical they can find with the result that they (and the rest of us) are more like to end up prematurely dead. Wise men know that innovation is deadly dangerous, and that societies which are based on it risk extinction.

POPSAcomplia - Lose Weight With Less Effort Why so many people choose to lose weight with Acomplia? Most of wise people follow the common sense rule - if something can be done with less efforts, then do it with less efforts.

POPSMini Nuclear Plants ~ On The Market Within Five Years The company plans to set up three factories to produce 4,000 plants between 2013 and 2023. 'We already have a pipeline for 100 reactors, and we are taking our time to tool up to mass-produce this reactor.' The first confirmed order came from TES, a Czech infrastructure company specialising in water plants and power plants. 'They ordered six units and optioned a further 12. We are very sure of their capability to purchase,' said Deal. The first one, he said, would be installed in Romania. 'We now have a six-year waiting list. We are in talks with developers in the Cayman Islands, Panama and the Bahamas.' The reactors, only a few metres in diameter, will be delivered on the back of a lorry to be buried underground. They must be refuelled every 7 to 10 years. An application to build the plants will be submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission next year.

POPSBut maybe we're learning... It seems like a group of people still long to be led by the ignorant... but those amongst us who don't know what they don't know: the scariest of all. The world is a complicated place... we face real problems that aren't solved by chanting "free market" ... but some still cling to the belief that intellectualism is the real problem.

POPSSomething to consider ....I want to come back to this and blog on it. The gender theology advocated by Piper needs to be analyzed. I think this post might help.

POPS Is Wall Street Wise To Obama? He is far too smart to say what Barney Frank just said–that we should cut the military budget by 25%. But it tells you something that Morgan Stanley has just downgraded the entire aerospace and defense sector ahead of the presidential election Obama is heavily favored to win. Wonder why they figure that we won’t be spending so much on defense in the future? Maybe the financial analysts aren’t buying Obama’s centrist makeover?

POPSTeen shot over vandalized McCain sign The teens admitted that they had defaced the McCain sign several times, Warren Township police Lt. Don Bishop told CNN. Rowles' is the only McCain sign on a street full of Obama signs, he said. Bishop said the teenagers probably will not be charged -- and are unlikely to damage campaign signs again, as the incident scared them. Warren Township is in Trumbull County not far from Cleveland, Ohio.
