POPSOpen Office- a viable alternative to the microsoft monopoly. I have been using this for about a week now and have uninstalled ms office completely, just part of an ongoing process to rid my windows machine of anything Microsoft, or Google related or any of their numerous affiliates. The program is more than capable of handling the average users requirements, I don't know if it would handle the needs of a business other than on the obvious lack of cost, but it certainly has that potential. Why not give it a go? What do you have to lose? It is free after all.

POPSDoes Clipmarks Have What It Takes for the New Web? I hope all clipmarkers will watch this video with the intention of us incorporating as many of the ideas into this community. I believe we truly have a unique opportunity to pave the way for a better world & be a paradigm for the Web 2.0 community. One final quote... "While at first glance this book appears aimed at the business sector, the key messages and principles it explores make it a "must read" for anyone in the education sector who has the slightest interest in understanding the environment that our schools are now operating in - and perhaps to understand why for many of our young people they simply aren't working any more!"

POPSDeweyMusic "I understand that sifting through that many artists is a bit daunting if you don't know what you're looking for. I've added Genre tags that are pulled from Last.fm to help you find your style, and a search function to help you find exactly what you want. While I look into better options, and as the database grows, let me suggest that you use the "Concerts From Today" tab to narrow down your listening possibilities while browsing. I hope to be adding rating, tagging and commenting functionality soon."
