Per installarlo dobbiamo copiarlo nella cartella

/usr/share/fonts/truetype/

Quindi possiamo procedere o per via grafica (se siamo in un account di root!) o via terminale attraverso il seguente comando:

cp /home/NOMEACCOUNT/Desktop/FONT.ttf /usr/share/fonts/truetype/

Ricordando che dobbiamo avere i privilegi di root e che dobbiamo sostituire a NOMEACCOUNT il nome dell’account in cui è salvato il font e a FONT il nome del carattere che stiamo installando!

Ora aggiorniamo il file in cui sono contenuti i tipi di font installati nel sistema con il comando:

fc-cache -f -v
