Zapatero promete 5.000 millones para Cercanías de Madrid

Madrid. (EFE).- El jefe del Gobierno, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, ha prometido que si el PSOE gana las elecciones el futuro Ejecutivo invertirá 5.000 millones de euros en un "gran plan" de Cercanías para Madrid que contempla prolongar la red en 150 kilómetros y crear una línea transversal de suroeste al noreste.

Zapatero ha hecho este anuncio durante la presentación de la candidatura del PSOE por Madrid a las elecciones generales, acto en el que también se ha comprometido a apoyar la candidatura de la capital para ser la sede de los Juegos Olímpicos de 2016 y a abordar las inversiones necesarias para que la ciudad "sea esta vez ganadora".
