Hoy martes inicia el primero de los foros regionales de consulta sobre la Ley de Agua Potable y Saneamiento, que elabora el Senado de la República, y cuyo propósito es transparentar el funcionamiento y operación de los organismos operadores del agua.
El presidente de la Comisión de Recursos Hidráulicos del Senado, el perredista Silvano Aureoles, anunció que este martes a las diez de la mañana en el patio de la Cámara alta se realizará el primer foro, al que asistirán el director de Aguas del Distrito Federal, Ramón Aguirre Díaz; el secretario del Agua y Obra Pública del estado de México, David Korenfeld; el director general del Instituto Mexicano de Tecnología del Agua, Polioptro Martínez Austria, además de investigadores, presidentes municipales y académicos.
El senador del PRD resaltó que se van a realizar diversos foros en León, Veracruz, Culiacán, Oaxaca y Morelia.
