Suchman Tamás, a Balaton Fejlesztési Tanács elnöke szerint, ha nem lesz hat hónapos tél, akkor június 26-án megtartható a próbafutam. A magyar nagydíj 2010. szeptember 19-ei dátummal szerepel a MotoGP versenynaptárában. A megállapodás szerint a szokásos öt helyett tíz évig garantáltan rendeznek ilyen versenyt a Balatonringen, Sávolyon.
