PROYECTAN EN SONORA DESALAR AGUA DE MAR

Hace una década, como Oposición el PAN logró evitar que se construyera una desaladora, pero ayer, ya como Gobierno, anunció que su construcción era la más viable para resolver en definitiva el abasto de agua en Hermosillo.

HERMOSILLO, Son. 14 noviembre 2009.- En conferencia de prensa, el titular de Conagua, José Luis Luege Tamargo, el Gobernador Guillermo Padrés Elías y el Alcalde Javier Gándara, los tres de extracción panista, anunciaron que el plan, que tendrá un costo de 4 mil 600 millones de pesos, es la solución de largo plazo para resolver el problema, aunque no descartaron una tratadora de aguas negras.

En 1999 y durante todo su sexenio, el ex Gobernador priista Armando López Nogales buscó por todos los medios que se construyera la desaladora, consiguió financiamiento, pero no tenía mayoría en el Congreso local y el PAN inició una campaña cuestionando el alto costo; finalmente logró detener su construcción.
