MÉXICO, D.F. 30 julio 2009.- El secretario de Finanzas del Gobierno del Distrito Federal, Mario Delgado Carrillo, explicó que el incremento a las tarifas del agua para compensar el incremento que desde 2008 aplicó la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua) y fomentar el uso racional del recurso, se hará de manera gradual y a partir de una estructura tarifaria en la que “paguen más quienes consumen más”.

El funcionario explicó que a partir de las facultades que otorgó la Asamblea Legislativa del Distrito Federal a la dependencia para reforzar el cobro del suministro, se han aplicado alrededor de 9 mil cortes a usuarios con adeudos.
