A legfrissebb és leg-leg-leg: velőspirítós a balatonrendesi kocsmában.

Erre általában rávágják, hogy nem is, mert a gyulakeszi velőspirítós a legjobb. (Gyulakeszi Tapolca alatt van, szóval egy régióban konkurálnak). Ezzel nem tudok egyetérteni: a gyulakeszi tojásrántotta jellegű, könnyű és könnyen felejthető. A rendesi viszont, abban minden benne van. Hagyma, paprika, só, bors, szerecsendió és még több fűszer, amit nem árult el a bácsi. Mellé erős pistát kínálnak, teljesen jogosan. Valamint nagyfröccs nélkül elképzelhetetlen, amihez a bor a szomszédos Varga pincészetből érkezik, nagyon finom.

A velőspirítósból egy adagon csak a nagyon szerelmesek osztozzanak, mert meglehetősen addiktív. „olyan méreg, amire jó rászokni”.
