Hévíz és Zalakaros turisztikai egyesülete összesen 107 millió forintos támogatást nyert el a Nyugat-dunántúli Regionális Fejlesztési Tanács (NYDRFT) döntése alapján

Szirtes Lajos, Zalakaros polgármestere az MTI kérdésére kifejtette: a település számára 130 millió forinttal kevesebb költségvetési bevétellel kénytelenek számolni emiatt. Mohácsi József erre reagálva azt mondta: a turisztikai desztinációs szervezeteknek jutó pénz kissé kompenzálja az elmaradt egyforintos támogatást. Hozzátette azt is, hogy a Pénzügyminisztériumtól származó információja szerint létrehoznak egy egymilliárd forintos alapot, amelyből részben szintén pótolható a bevételkiesés. A szocialista képviselő úgy látja, hogy ez a plusz forrás minden egyes forintra további 20 fillér támogatást jelenthet, amely Hévíz számára várhatóan 50-60 millió forintos kiegészítést hozhat az elmaradt támogatás részbeni ellentételezésére.
