Raising a hydroponic garden is getting to be more and more widespread among people who do not have a yard in which to raise plants. It is also a favorite pastime of year round gardeners who like to raise plants throughout the wintertime months, not only in the summer.

Hydroponics offers numerous challenges. Yet it provides numerous rewards for both the plant and the gardener. Using hydroponic gardening, you will grow larger plants and see a bigger crop. This is all achievable with a reduced amount of work than that required for a typical garden.

For example, weeds are not much of an issue in a hydroponic garden. The growing medium makes it difficult for the weeds to get started and they are removed with ease if they do.
