Aseguran que las lluvias no han sido suficientes para recargar las presas

Los cortes de 25 por ciento al suministro que recibe la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México (ZMVM) del Sistema Cutzamala se ampliarán de 48 a 60 horas los fines de semana de manera indefinida, informó la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua).
"La ampliación de 12 horas en la reducción del suministro de agua potable del Cutzamala se aplicará a partir de este viernes 10 de julio, iniciando a las 10:00 horas hasta las 22:00 horas del domingo", indicó el director del Organismo de Cuenca Aguas del Valle de México, Efrén Villalón.
La medida fue tomada después que un comité de expertos determinó que el nivel de lluvias sobre las siete presas ha sido insuficiente.
"El objetivo es contar con una reserva de agua en las presas para los meses de estiaje de 2010, en caso de no registrarse una recuperación suficiente de los almacenamientos durante la actual temporada de lluvias"
