POPSMcCain Raises Fear of Nuclear Shootout with Russia
In 1962 was "The Cuban Missile Crisis," when President John Kenney got on TV and publicly announced that if the Russian used any one single one of their nuclear missiles in Cuba that the United States would launch a full-scale nuclear attack against the Soviet Union. McCain was there. Apparently he would like to be there again, an assigned target, on the deck of his aircraft carrier, go to go. Do we really want this flyboy in office!? Another old John Wayne cowboy acting out his wet dreams in public!? It's scary. People in the States in 62 freaked out. They woke up everyday wondering if this was going to be the day the world would end, had we got to the point of nuclear annihilation at last. Funny enough (ha ha) the USA (and now Europe) are in a similar missile bases crisis. The USA is building a missile base in Poland, on the Russia border. Russia has said: "Remove those missiles or we will attack." (yes...yes they have). Now...do you want McCain or Obama in charge a

POPS John McCain And The Conservative Base When did McCain get a bump? When he picked an unapologetic conservative running mate. How is Obama winning this election now? By never calling himself a liberal at all, by never mentioning his true allies and mentors, and by pretending not to be a radical Leftist. Conservatives lose when they deny that they are conservatives: When they seek that two percent of America that calls itself moderate at the cost of that sixty percent of America that calls itself conservative. When was the last time an unapologetic conservative ran against a nice, old-fashioned liberal? Twenty-four years ago. The result? The conservative got about sixty percent of the vote. If Rush lost his guts the way that Republicans have these days, he would lose most of his audience as well. But he sensed, before Battleground Polls said it, that America is a profoundly conservative nation. Now all we need is candidate and president who understands this.

POPSAmerica Is A Conservative Nation When 60% of people identify themselves as somewhat conservative or very conservative - how does a huge liberal like Obama try to get elected? By lying about his background and associations, by relying on the media to run interference for him, by using nuclear destruction on any conservative (Sarah Palin).

POPSA Brief History of the Twenty-first Century This seems plausible enough. Oct. 2, 2051 is an intriguing point, but misses the key strategy that one could hold all of North America by only defending Alaska, Greenland and Mexico. After holding this for a short while you could take all of South America, swapping Mexico for Brazil as your only souther border. At this point, world domination is only a matter of time.

POPSMass UFO Sighting Predicted - Oct 14, 2008 I believe they feel they have no choice but to show themselves as we verge on self-annihilation, genocide and toxic poisoning. The truth of our inter-galactic lineage will become common knowledge. If I am to believe the vision, the truth of our intergalactic lineage will cause humanity to take one wild ride. They're coming! I'd love a wild ride. Heh heh... :D Clip Song

POPSEastern Europe Can Defend Itself
The small number of interceptors are designed to shoot down an equally small number of Iranian missiles -- not the overwhelming numbers that Russia deploys. Poland and other states should be under no illusion they can count on the U.S. in a crisis. In the past we left Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia in the lurch. More recently we haven't done much to help Georgia. We have already seen how the tiny Georgian armed forces -- with fewer than 30,000 men -- were routed by the Russian invaders. According to the CIA's World Factbook, Georgia has over 900,000 men between the ages of 16 and 49. It could easily create a larger military force than it has, but that would require spending more on defense. By the CIA's estimate, its defense budget was just 0.59% of GDP in 2005. According to the International Institute of Strategic Studies, one country in Eastern Europe spends more than 2% of GDP on defense. Bulgaria at 2.2%. Romania is in second place at 1.9%, followed by Poland at 1.8%.

POPSRice Says She Won't Block Strikes Against Nuclear Sites "We don't say yes or no to Israeli military operations; Israel is a sovereign country," Ms. Rice said. "Every day that the centrifuges continue to spin brings Iran closer to a nuclear weapons capability and threatens the stability and security of the region and the world," Israel's ambassador in Washington, Sallai Meridor, said. "The international community should immediately apply additional robust sanctions." The Security Council, which has imposed three rounds of mild sanctions on Iran since 2006, has traditionally taken its time before agreeing on compromise action that manages to satisfy Russia, China, and several European countries that prefer conducting business with Iran to halting its nuclear run . The process is also very slow, the American U.N. ambassador, Zalmay Khalilzad, acknowledged yesterday.

POPSWhy some conservatives are backing Obama How you vote should be governed by your interpretation of what the candidates have to offer. You may be able to think of the good of the country or you may be pressed by the need for food, shelter and clothing (not to mention medical insurance).

POPSThe Amerikkan Beast Still Lives A significant number of soldiers are screaming that something is terribly wrong with the leadership and judgement of those who pushed us into this war — the false reasons for starting it; the slipshod manner in which it was begun; the lack of support for those on the ground; and the lies to the soldiers; not to mention the broken promises that Iraqis have suffered. And we at home are lied to when we are told that the US has "turned this war around." While hostilities have reduced, it is quite far from being turned around.

POPSTHE LIBERAL MOVEMENT WAS RIGHT! The liberal movement was right on Lieberman and were right on the unjustified war in Iraq... Still waiting for an apology on the latter. Should I hold my breath? With all the immoral, absurdities of the last 8 years and now the rearing of its ugly head in some media outlets... "HOW COULD I HAVE NOT SEEN THAT?". Allows one to ask... "Really now, you didn't have to be a rocket scientist or soothsayer to figure out the insane outcome of all the wrongness that was occurring within the Karl Rove 'Free Thought Annihilation Machine'! POPSAhmadinejad: Israel Is Doomed Ahmadinejad used an Arabic word, ismihlal, that can also be translated as destruction, death and collapse. "Nations of the region hate this criminal fabricated regime (Israel) and will uproot this fabricated regime if the smallest and shortest opportunity is given to them," Ahmadinejad said Wednesday in an address broadcast live on state television. He spoke hours after President Bush arrived in Israel for the anniversary celebrations.

POPSNew twist to matter-antimatter mystery Here is an "almost breakthrough" A major mystery of modern physics is why normal matter particles are the building blocks of the observable universe. Why are we not made of antimatter? Or pure energy? Scientists speculate that a tiny imbalance in the early universe allowed a small fraction of normal matter – one particle for every one billion – to avoid annihilation and survive to form stars, planets, and humans. When we come to know that we don't know, there is a new place for hope...

POPSEternalism, Nihilism: new forms, old superstition <<<Throughout the Buddha's long period of teaching the Dhamma to His followers, He actively discouraged speculative arguments. During the 5th century B.C. India was a veritable hive of intellectual activity where scholars, yogis, philosophers, kings and even ordinary householders were constantly engaged in the philosophical arguments pertaining to human existence. Some of these were either ridiculously trivial or totally irrelevant. Some people wasted valuable time arguing at great length about all manner of subjects. They were far more concerned about proving their powers in mental gymnastics than seeking genuine solutions to the problems that beset humanity.>>>

POPSLouisiana's Mulch Madness "Which makes it all the more staggering that in recent years an entire industry intent on logging cypress has lawfully sprung up. Some of the timber winds up as boards for home construction or furniture, but most trees are ground into garden mulch. That's right: The last natural stronghold that could stop hurricanes from obliterating southern Louisiana is being pulverized into chips to adorn the very homes that the cypress would save from annihilation."

POPSThe ten most meaningful videogame quotes of all time "Would you kindly?" Not only is this a moving, shocking, and all-around incredible quote about the consequences of blindly accepting authority, but it also represents one of the single most insightful statements ever made about videogaming in general. ... When the player finds out that he has been subliminally controlled by Atlas throughout the entire game, he or she experiences a very sudden, shocking reassessment of values. Having gone through the game thus far with the single-minded intent of beating Andrew Ryan to a bloody pulp, the player is suddenly forced to ask a question most other games would never dream of proposing to the player: "Why am I doing this?" ... One might suggest that questioning authority in a videogame, where structure is more or less mandatory and even the most nonlinear games still have an inescapably linear storyline, would be an ultimately meaningless gesture.

POPSThe true miracle of Israel Israel's existence is portrayed as a resurrection of sorts: from near-annihilation to a "miraculous" rebirth. In the United States, Christian Zionists see their allegiance to Israel as a religious duty. When an American politician, for example, is accused of not standing "fully behind Israel," the accusation stands on its own, like a biblical command that has survived the test of time and reason: Thou shalt stand fully behind Israel. As the 60th anniversary of the so-called birth of Israel draws near, a most impressive -- albeit grotesque -- misrepresentation of that history will be offered in abundance , omitting how Israel was delivered on top of the ruins of hundreds of Palestinian towns and villages. The killing and ethnic cleansing that became known as the Palestinian Catastrophe -- or Nakba -- was not the work of invisible and miraculous seraphs, but rather well trained and well-armed Zionist gangs and their supporters.
