POPSObama's Abortion Extremism
It gets worse yet. In an act of breathtaking injustice which the Obama campaign lied about until critics produced documentary proof of what he had done, as an Illinois state senator Obama opposed legislation to protect children who are born alive, either as a result of an abortionist's unsuccessful effort to kill them in the womb, or by the deliberate delivery of the baby prior to viability. This legislation would not have banned any abortions. Indeed, it included a specific provision ensuring that it did not affect abortion laws. (This is one of the points Obama and his campaign lied about until they were caught.) The federal version of the bill passed unanimously in the United States Senate, winning the support of such ardent advocates of legal abortion as John Kerry and Barbara Boxer. But Barack Obama opposed it and worked to defeat it. For him, a child marked for abortion gets no protection-even ordinary medical or comfort care-even if she is born alive and entirely separated from

POPSObama Asserted That “Nobody Is Pro-Abortion” In 2008, Obama has positioned himself as a post-partisan, thoughtful moderate with the superior judgment required to lead the country. These are lofty promises from a man with precious little executive experience, and a Senate career that lasted exactly 143 legislative days before he launched yet another campaign for higher office. No one can deny his ambition. In fact, if Obama wins on November 4th—and serves one full term in the Oval Office—the Presidency of the United States would be the longest consecutively held full-time job he has ever held without seeking another. Barack Obama promises “change,” which is an appealing concept to an American public. They are faced with a candidate who promises them everything: Tax cuts for 95% of Americans, universal healthcare, peace, saving the planet, and—according to his wife—the “healing” of Americans’ souls. As the saying goes, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

POPSNYT: McCain decried robocalls; now makes them the calls exaggerate Mr. Obama’s ties to Bill Ayers; question the candidate’s patriotism; say that he opposed a bill “requiring doctors to care for babies born alive after surviving attempted abortions. SLEAZEBALL!

POPSFight the Right-Wing Smears Sad to say, I know and receive email from people (including relatives) who have no problem forwarding right-wing lies and racist propaganda about Obama. I went to this site to have a good source of information to refute the hate emails and replied to all who received, and sent, the smear emails I have received. I encourage you to do the same if you have the misfortune to be sent trashy lies about Barack Obama. To say nothing is to condone the sending and receiving of such emails.

POPSObama ad attacks abortion survivor and lies about McCain “Mr. Obama is clearly blinded by political ambition given his attack on me this week. All I asked of him was to do the right thing: support medical care and protection for babies who survive abortion – as I did 31 years ago. He voted against such protection and care four times even though the U.S. Senate voted 98-0 in favor of a bill identical to the one Obama opposed. In the words of his own false and misleading ad, his position is downright vile. Mr. Obama said at the recent Saddleback Forum that the question of when babies should get human rights was above his pay grade. Such vacillation and cowardice would have left me to die if his policies were in place when I was born. Thank God they were not.”

POPSWhy Obama Really Voted For Infanticide Andrew C. McCarthy
SENATOR O’MALLEY: First of all, there is established, under this legislation, that a child born under such circumstances would receive all reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice, and that’s as defined, of course, by the … practice of medicine in the community where this would occur. It also requires, in two instances, that … an attending physician be brought in to assist and advise with respect to the issue of viability and, in particular, where … there’s a suspicion on behalf of the physician that the child … may be … the attending physician would make that determination as to whether that would be the case…. The other one is where the child is actually born alive … in which case, then, the physician would call as soon as practically possible for a second physician to come in and determine the viability. pdf file available at website: http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NzRhZTgzNmRlZWE0MTA1YTM4NWMxN2UxMjA5YjBkZTE=&w=MQ==

POPSObama's Misleading, Confusing Abortion Rights Ads Obama’s new radio ad tells voters McCain “will make abortion illegal” is airing widely in at least seven swing states. Kate Michelman, an informal Obama adviser who is the former president of the abortion-rights group NARAL Pro-Choice America, said she expected the campaign to expand its appeal to women on issues of abortion rights. “This is a door opened to a longer campaign and strategic effort to ensure that women know the truth about John McCain and Gov. Palin,” she said, suggesting it would come “on the radio, in the mail, on the phones, and in the organizing on the ground.” Though the campaign says the ad was released before Palin was chosen, Michelman said her selection, and her strong anti-abortion stance, would drive the issue closer to the center of the race. “By his nomination of Gov. Palin, McCain has made his opposition to a woman’s right to decide a major campaign issue,” she said.

POPSWhat Palin Does 9.Democrats used to raising charges of racism against Obama’s critics may face charges of sexism and/or condescension if they try to diss her. 10. Steps on Obama’s claims to have been a reformer, as he reformed nothing (much less the corrupt mare’s nest of Chicago arrangements), while she was a dragon-slayer up in Alaska. 11. As a mother of five, one a Down Syndrome baby, helps her side take on the Democrats on abortion extremism and the Born Alive bill. 12. Reignites the deep and unhealed stresses inside the Democrats, some of whom will now wonder more loudly than ever why they didn't pick Hillary. 13. Counters Michelle in a way Cindy couldn’t. 14. Counter-intuitively, makes the issue of Obama’s light resume more potent than ever. Her lack of experience is no more than his is. And he’s--to use a term from Alaska, and the Iditarod--their lead dog.

POPSObama's "Carefully Nuanced Refinements" Obama could have picked Hillary Clinton, who received 18,000,000 votes. (He would have done so, by the way, without sacrificing his desire to have a Vice President with strong national security and foreign policy credentials on the ticket.) That works out to 2,000 votes for Clinton for every one vote Senator Biden got.

POPSObama's Infanticide Disgrace The fact that he voted for such a bill is amazing. I wonder, though, if he would (given the task) have actually performed it. Those who do have no soul....in my opinion.

POPSYou May Be A Racist If You...........
If you're appalled that Obama voted against treating infants born after an abortion attempt the same medically as other infants born alive you... If you were proud of your country even before Obama's candidacy you If you oppose racial preferences in employment, school admissions and contracting you... If you think "we are the change we've been waiting for" is a line from a Monty Python skit you... If your grandmother isn't a "typical white person" you... If you're not sure invading Pakistan is a particularly good idea—what with their nuclear weapons and all— you... The tendency of Obama supporters to see racist impulses behind every criticism of their candidate has evolved into absurdity. Now even the first black president feels compelled to declare he's not a racist. By this measure, nearly every American is at risk of being branded a racist at some point in the campaign. To assess whether you're at risk just consult the list below ( apologies to Jeff Foxworthy

POPSObama, Religion and the Public Square
Yet there is more to Mr. Obama and religion than the recent headlines might suggest. Here is how he put it: "Secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square. Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, William Jennings Bryan, Dorothy Day, Martin Luther King – indeed, the majority of great reformers in American history – were not only motivated by faith but repeatedly used religious language to argue for their cause. To say that men and women should not inject their 'personal morality' into public policy debates is a practical absurdity. Our law is by definition a codification of morality, much of it grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition." In his now-famous address to the Greater Houston Ministerial Association in 1960, John Kennedy called for "an America where the separation of church and state is absolute." He went on to state that a president's faith should be "his own private affair."

POPSObama's Bad Record on Abortion Obama portrays himself as a middle of the road candidate, but his record proves otherwise. Perhaps no other US Senator has been so consistent in his pro-choice voting.

POPSMummified Toronto child a newborn boy: coroner "The renovator, Bob Kinghorn, said he found the small body Tuesday lodged between the second and third floors of a home near Broadview Avenue and Queen Street in the city's east end. The house on Kintyre Avenue was owned in 1925 by a couple. It was sold, in 1941, by provincial officials after the man had died and the woman was a resident of a provincial psychiatric hospital."
