POPSAmateur Hour In Iran? But an isolated and defensive Iran is not necessarily good news. If the mullahs are feeling threatened, as it seems they are, the likelihood of desperate and rash actions increases. Tehran could escalate and prolong the conflict in Syria, drawing Saudi Arabia and Lebanon into a sectarian mess. Also, the Washington Post downplayed an important part of the latest info on Iran’s nuclear program: the Iranians continue to stockpile enriched uranium and despite various setbacks, there could well be enough on hand to build not one but two bombs, and possibly more, should the mullahs give the order. And as Jeffrey Goldberg noted in an important recent column, Iran continues to harass shipping in the Persian Gulf in ways that could explode into an armed confrontation. POPS Obama’s New Terror Strategy: Kill Them All [Reader Post]
Air Force and Navy aircraft are still flying hundreds of strike missions over Libya despite the Obama administration’s claim that American forces are playing only a limited support role in the NATO operation. And the targeted killings don’t stop at “suspects.” The killing plan also includes leaders of sovereign nations. But as long as we’re interested in killing those we feel have wronged us, why not finish the job? It’s good for one’s poll numbers- at least temporarily. A solid argument can be made for taking out the leadership in Tehran. And why not those Pakistani whiners who complained about the Bin Laden mission? Few would mind if Obama killed Syria’s Bashar Al-Assad. And of course there’s that pesky Moqtada Al Sadr. We could finally rid ourselves of Chavez and Castro. So here is your opportunity to add to the “Who should Obama kill next?” list. And yet there is something troubling about all this. Obama’s plan is to kill terror “suspects." . . .

POPSSpeechworld vs. Realworld by Mark Steyn
“America, it is time to focus on nation-building here at home.” Gee, thanks. If America were a Kandahar wedding, that would be the cue to fire your rifle in the air and grab the cutest nine-year-old boy. Naturally, not everyone sees eye to eye. Like Afghanistan, ours is a fractious land. But as Obama said: “Our nation draws strength from our differences, and when our union is strong, no hill is too steep, no horizon is beyond our reach.” The salient feature of America in the Age of Obama is a failed government class institutionally committed to living beyond its means, and a citizenry too many of whom are content to string along. Remember Peggy Joseph of Sarasota, Fla.? “I never thought this day would ever happen,” she gushed after an Obama rally in 2008. “I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage.” In Speechworld, nation-building can be done through flatulent rhetoric. In Realworld, nations are built by people . . .

POPS A TSUNAMI OF INSANITY
(February 2010) what an extraordinary place Bahrain was. Now it's being torn apart by Iranian agents fomenting a Hutu-like hatred among Bahraini Shias, egging them to look upon Bahraini Sunnis as Tutsis. The pinkostream enemedia calls these rioters "pro-democracy demonstrators," as if Bahrain were some kind of Mubarak or Gaddafi dictatorship. The whole phony crisis is bought and paid for by Tehran's mullahs, Zero is clueless and does nothing - even though the US Navy's 5th Fleet is based in Bahrain - so the Saudis and Gulf Arabs take matters into their own hands, and send in troops to take care of the problem. On his radio talk show this week, (3/14), Mark Levin advised Jews in Israel to "tell Obama to go to hell, tell Hillary Clinton to get lost, and be done with them." Good advice, which Arabs are already following - here in the Gulf, in Saudi, and in Egypt where the leaders of the successful overthrow of Mubarak refused to meet with Hillary Clinton yesterday (3/15).

POPSIrish Election Campaign...Letter from honest politician Now listen up, ye shower of prancing, whining, spoilt rotten, leftie yoghurt-knitting pinko fucksticks. I've had enough. Enough of the moaning and the whining. Enough of the rosary roaring, fundamentalist mulchie mullahs. Enough of the bastardin' backward, 'going forward' corporate whoremongers, the shell-suited, toe-rag, scabies-riddled dolescum. Ya basta to the greased up, rubber-wearing, sex crazed, ginger bearded deviants and their burlesque club hipster bollocks. Enough of the bung-throwing, winking and nudging, envelope-smuggling, yacht-owning, tax-dodging, smarmy special interest shitheads and their scum-sucking banker mates, sitting in leather couches telling me what to do with the tax rate after spending half the year snorting great ropes of gak off the upturned arses of underaged Eastern European prostitutes. Listen up and listen fucking good.

POPSMullahs Brutal Regime Call For Execution of Protesters! Insiders who can get emails and calls out of Iran are reporting that the country’s state run media is thrilled that Sec. of State Clinton has spoken out on the protests. They are using the American State Department Farsi Twitter account as proof that the Greens (the central group behind the protests) are merely a puppet of America and the West. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/iranian-leaders-call-for-execution-of-protesters cross-posted at patriotactionnetwork IRANIAN LEADERS CALL FOR EXECUTION OF PROTESTERS Posted on February 15, 2011 by Mike Opelka http://www.patriotactionnetwork.com

POPSYep, "A New Beginning". Can we go back to the old beginning now? We meet at a time of great tension between the United States and Muslims around the world... ...I've come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles -- principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings... ..I know there's been a lot of publicity about this speech... Yes, we were all waiting with baited breath ... but no single speech can eradicate years of mistrust... As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth"...
