POPSExploding One Myth about Auto Makers Collapse We've all heard the claim. Only domestically produced automobiles aren't being sold in the US. But that's a myth. Sales of imports are on the skids as well. The current crisis of the automobile industry is indicative of the US' recessionary economy. It's as simple as that.

who erected the "wall" between the CIA & FBI? uh, NO!!! pointing to her experiences at both Fannie Mae and the Sept. 11 commission." To that, my response is to jump up and down with both hands waving frantically as I shout, "Damned right we are! Damned right!" Short of appointing an actual member of al Qaeda, I cannot imagine a more offensive symbolic repudiation of the Global War on Terror — nor a more enthusiastic embrace of the chronic mismanagement, cronyism, and graft which led to this fall's credit crisis — than the appointment of Jamie Gorelick as attorney general. When Obama choose an amoral, souless Hard Left hitman like Rahm Emanuel to be his chief of staff, I was willing to grant that such is his right for such a position, and I didn't even grumble. POPSThis Day In History ~ The Beginning Of The Long War It was just past 6 a.m., Oct. 23, 1983. Within a few minutes, Beirut, Lebanon, would be rocked by what was at the time the largest non-nuclear blast ever recorded. Twenty-five years ago today, at the height of the Lebanese civil war, Islamic terrorists drove a Mercedes-Benz truck packed with explosives through a barbed wire fence, past U.S. Marine Corps checkpoints and into the lobby of the Marine Corps barracks at Beirut International Airport. The resulting blast leveled the four-story building and trapped hundreds inside. Two hundred-twenty Marines, 18 sailors and three Army soldiers were killed. A few minutes later, a similar truck bomb went off at a nearby French barracks, killing 58. http://wvgazette.com/News/200810220656

A motion he filed in a 1983 bankruptcy case called the judge “a crooked, slimy Jew who has a history of lying and thieving common to members of his race.”
