POPSBin Laden to be Conjured Up for Halloween/Election
Poof--October Surprise! The officials sound like they WANT bin Laden to speak and be heard don't they? Hey ABC!.. why not identify just who these "multiple government sources" are...why the secrecy? Could they be neocons within the Office of Special Plans that report to Dick Cheney and bypass the CIA (which closed their bin Laden unit), that wrote the blueprint for a "new middle east", including Iraq, Iran, Syria (for Israel) in Sept. 2000? I have been waiting for this, bin Laden is always conjured up to spook Americans (in perfect Pavlovian condition-response training) to switch the debate back to "terrorism", fear, and "national security", while the statistical real threat of terrorism is MICROSCOPIC. The neocon agenda must be continued. I guarantee ABC will have an exclusive with Brian Ross, quoting the neocon-linked private company SITE, who always provide Osama a national platform, whom a $1 Trillion Pentagon can never find, conveniently. It's a lie!

POPSPartisanship Matters: Beware the Provisional Ballot The ballots are supposed to ensure that no voter is turned away at the polls. But the 2002 law leaves it up to states to devise their own rules for determining which ballots are valid. Another reason to be against States Rights.

POPSHow We Got Stuck With George W. Bush P.S. Don't be too surprised if McCain and Palin "win" next week. No matter how unlikely the outcome, the US news media stands ready to pump out a plausible "cover story" to explain the results. - Brasscheck I'll bet they do! Be forewarned. We all know it happened the last two elections and it could very well happen again. In fact, I think it's highly likely, they'll try. They've had eight years to rig the setup even more and I do not see the republicans having any intentions of playing fair, as their campaigning methods and the last eight years have shown. If it should happen, don't let them get away with it. Fool you once, shame on them, fool you twice...okay, there's shame enough to go around.... but three times?? You're either a democratic republic. Or you're not. It's that simple.

POPSRepublicans making Death Threats & Hack Attacks
Read this clip and you have to wonder" Are we in America? YES. This is America. Since 2000 elections there has been the use of Thug Force and Thug Displays to intimidate and influence the elections. Unabashedly I have, here in clipmarks, said things like these people were Monsters...they will not die nor give up power unless utterly stomped into the ground...they are like a vampire who will not die to a wooden stake is firmly driven into the ground. I wasn't kidding. I'm serious. The McCain-Palin campaign has also fueled this violence of mob shouting, death threats, computer hacks, robbery, mailing of 'suspicious packages," etc. This story just brings this to light in mainstream news -- it's normally a darkness hidden in the shadows, but it's upfront now. Can you imagine what Obama must put up with? It's truly horrible, real, omnipresent, thug politics at it's worse and we're flooded with it. Ms. Brunner's crime? - 'Cause she stopped Republican efforts of voter su

POPSA McCain landslide? Food for thought. If you think it's in the bag and you'll just stay home instead of voting this could happen. Remember if it's close the GOP will steal it. If a President McCain doesn't scare you A President Palin should motivate you to get out. Unless of course you think this is the End of Days administration.

POPSWill Republicans Steal the 2008 election? This interview is with Mark Crispin Miller. If you want to see who is actually trying to steal the elections -- and tactics of Republican voter suppression going on right now, his books are good details and summaries. He wrote: Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the Election Cruel and Unusual: Bush Cheney's New World Order & The Bush Dyslexicon Republicans are the party that tries to purge voters from the rolls. The Republicans are the ones who are always crying wolf and voter fraud while they are the ones doing it, and doing massive campaigns of voter suppression. If you've heard about ACORN and charges of their alleged voter fraud (which it ain't) then you know what's going on -- and in Miller interview here & his book -- you get a good explaination of what's going on behind the scenes...a massive and decade long program of attempts at voter suppression by the Republicans. Let's not get fooled again.

POPSPalin Must Condemn Hateful Obama Attacks.
VP Democratic candidate, Senator Joe Biden is confronting what he calls the "ugly," and "dangerous," recent Republican campaign rallies where members of the crowd are shouting out about Obama: "Treason!" and "Kill him!" Those are very appropriate words. Over the last week, here at Clipmarks, other forums, on radio, TV, in the newspapers and magazines there is a shocking virulent outburst of hate against Obama, trying to associate him with "domestic terrorism," and being a supporter of 'Islamofacsist," (the neocon propagada term the Republicans wave like a red flag). In this age of 24-hour media coverage there is the real possibility of such vocal and visible fascist-like hatred and attempts to distort elections and destroy opponents can succeed. It was done in the 2000 elections in the USA, which Al Gore won and Bush stole in Florida, with the help of a shouting mob. We have to not only stand strong against this, but fight back, word for word -- & Vote Obama, Please

POPSMichigan Voter SUppression: Lose Your House, Lose Your Vote THIS is how Republicans steal elections. This sort of shit is part of how they stole 2000 & 2004. Trying to underhandedly disenfranchise Americans like this is unconscionable. Notice it's almost always the Republicans who are trying to get fewer people to vote with their policies, and the Democrats trying to get more people to vote. Besides, the Republicans buddies on Wall Street are the ones who caused the fucking housing crisis, and now they want to use that fact to rob Americans of the right to vote? Why do the Republicans hate America so much?

POPSThe Law of the Conservation of Violence
Edward S. Herman's article on Z-Net, touches some important points: Can we expect a "way different" (and peaceful) international policy , if Obama wins? Do the Democrats promise to put an end to that "muscular foreign policy" which have harmed America's image for years? An interesting read. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the campaign trail called for a larger army to meet U.S. "defense" needs. Now Obama wants us to take on a bigger commitment to violence. This will keep the arms cargo ships and planes busy and the bomb factories and plane and missile factories working at full capacity. Of course, those wanting infrastructure improvements and resources will have to wait and "hope" for a better future after our enemies are defeated and full hegemony and stability are established. They need a good dollop of "vision." The law of conservation of the level of violence thus rests on the structure of power and its reflection in politics. If you want to compete

POPSGOP Fights For Expedited Delivery Of Ballots To Military In 2000 military ballots were targeted for challenge in the famous Florida recount , and only 48% of the overseas members of the military who requested absentee ballots for the 2006 election had their ballots counted, according to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. Conservatives believe that members of Congress should fight as hard for the right of our military to vote as our military has fought to allow Iraq to have a constitutional democracy. Sens. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas), along with Reps. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) and Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) are engaging in legislative combat for the rights of our military to vote in the 2008 election.

POPSIs the Web making young people vote? Youth voter turnout has increased in recent elections, including this year's primaries. I believe the Web has made it easier and more interesting to be politically engaged -- and young people are connecting online.

POPSCalifornia Republicans Cool to Youth-Voting Bills This is a wonderful idea as it educates towards understanding that the vote is a right and important. If the Republicans are against it then they know their policies need changing to attract voters. ( This article indicates to me that the GOP people are not willing to make a forward step, let alone cater for younger voters.)

POPSIf They Ain't Hand-Counted, Paper Means Nada Paper ballots, counted by hand, in public AT EACH PRECINCT is the only way we will ever have real elections. Of course, if all the candidates are bought out or blackmailed by the elite cabal brotherhood, then even free and fair elections doesn't mean didley squat...but it's a start. Vote fraud has always been the way it is in the U.S. Read the amazing book, Votescam at www.votescam.com

POPSGore: Obama more experienced than Kennedy, Jefferson, Madison Regarding experience, after citing Kennedy (2 yrs younger), he continues: “To exclude from positions of trust and command all those below the age of 44 would have kept Jefferson from writing the Declaration of Independence, Washington from commanding the Continental Army, Madison from fathering the Constitution..."
