POPSHurrah for the Millennials! When it comes to policy, Millennials are liberal interventionists on economic issues, active multilateralists in foreign affairs and tolerant non-meddlers on social issues-a profile that most closely matches the Democratic Party's platform as well as the new President's agenda. Their propensity to vote straight Democratic was clearly evident in 2008 when young voters supported Democratic congressional candidates by about the same margin that they did Obama (63% vs. 34%).

POPSU.S. Marines in Kabul Mark Corps' 233rd Birthday
U.S. MARINES ~ THE FEW ~ THE PROUD ~ Semper Fi ~ “America needs you now more than ever. You have done your country proud and we are proud of you.” The Marines closed their festivities with the traditional cutting of the cake and presentation to the oldest and youngest Marines in attendance. 2004 Marine Corps Birthday Message from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Happy 229th Birthday to the United States Marine Corps. Marines have built a legacy of warfighting excellence that has endured throughout our Nation's history — a history that continues to be written every day around the globe. The word "Marine" continues to inspire fear in our enemies, hope for those in need, and trust on the part of our allies. On behalf of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I salute the efforts of the proud Marines serving today and those who served before. Semper Fidelis. Gen. Richard B. Myers, Gen.
