Testicular Cancer
dianakee
by dianakee  8-5-2008
Only 15 years ago, a diagnosis of testicular cancer was grim news, ten times as many patients died then as now. Dramatic advances in therapeutic drugs in the last two decades, along with improved diagnostics and better tests to gauge the extent of the disease, have boosted survival rates remarkably. Now, testicular cancer often is completely curable, especially if found and treated early.

Study finds age related Brain abnormalities common
pokkets
by pokkets  11-1-2007    1
You can stall aging, but it will catch us all. We have to admit there will come a time that our bodies will no longer be strong enough to continue. The best approach we can have is to make each second important, and remember that while death can be overwhelming, while we try to avoid it we are focusing on it, when is is more fulfilling to cherish the life we have, and have a right to expect, and show others the same appreciation.Death is not so much the enemy as fear of death. We will die, but we are not obliged to fear.

based on extraterrestrial view... ----------------------- Hello to all friends and all people of good will here on Clipmarks! I am momentarily in another period of intense learning so I am not very active in debates in Clipmarks society. But I will contribute some clips from time to time - things I find interesting and possibly provocative for someone. Good luck for everybody!

RvW poll
n2sooners
by n2sooners  5-16-2007    9
Seems if asked directly with no explanation most people are against overturning RvW. But when asked about what types of restrictions there should be on abortion, most think that many types of abortion RvW allows shouldn't be legal. My guess is that most people are confused and believe overturning RvW would make abortion illegal instead of just allowing for restrictions on abortion.
