Stevens is a convicted felon. It shouldn't even have been close. Republicans are so freakin' crazy up there that they'd rather re-elected a prison-bound criminal than a Democrat. POPSMy Beautiful Blue Indiana! I am so pleased that the majority of voters in my home state of Indiana chose Obama over McCain! It has been an exciting election for us Hoosiers, who normally get little attention due to the assumption that Indiana is a dyed-in-the-wool red state. Well, not any more! Woo hoo! I was one of the Hoosiers who cast an absentee ballot this year. :)

POPSWhat real voter fraud looks like, eh GOP? Those who were formerly Democrats may stop receiving phone calls and literature from that party, perhaps affecting its get-out-the-vote efforts. They also will be given only a Republican ballot in the next primary election if they do not switch their registration back before then. Some also report having their registration status changed to absentee without their permission; if they show up at the polls without a ballot they may be unable to vote.
