POPSPies, pies, pies I've only made one fruit pie my entire life. These adorable pie crust designs are sorely tempting me to try again. The lattice work is so good! Mine was not so good.

POPSThis is funny! Good for a chuckle...by
prin1 Yesterday 7:57 AM The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I've told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?" The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it. " The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir."

They provided male and female volunteers with sensory input to convince them that they had switched bodies with another person or"Neither male nor female participants had any trouble convincing themselves that they had entered the body of the male mannequin. Similarly, when male volunteers were given sensory input from the female experimenter, they readily believed that they had swapped bodies with her. And as surreal as the experience was, presenter Valeria Petkova reported that the subjects were ready for another go: “Our subjects experienced this illusion as being exciting and strange, and often said that they wanted to come back and try it again.”

POPSGod Angrily Clarifies 'Don't Kill' Rule God said in a press conference near the Twin Towers, 'Look, I don't know, maybe I haven't made myself completely clear, so for the record, here it is again. Somehow people keep coming up with the idea that I want them to kill their neighbor. Well, I don't. And to be honest, I'm really getting sick and tired of it. Get it straight. Not only do I not want anybody to kill anyone, but I specifically commanded you not to, in really simple terms that anybody ought to be able to understand."

POPSThe Execs of Evil Whose idea was it to let these guys do whatever they wanted, without regulations? Oh, yes. The Republicans. Who's the last party you should ever allow to run the government? Right again. The Republicans.

POPSPriest to deny Communion To Obama Supporters In 2004 I knowingly and willingly committed the grievous sin of voting for John Kerry. And, Lord help me, I'd do it again tomorrow. So I guess I am a sinner again according to this priest, and it makes me mad as hell all over again.

POPSObama's 'Change' and Rahm-bo: Neo-conned Again? This article, if read, will burst the bubble of belief by Obama cheerleaders. (Did Pelosi or a Dem Congress change anything either?) Roberts does not spare Obama any more than he did Bush: War policy: In “Hail to the Chief of Staff,” Alexander Cockburn describes Emanuel as “a super-Likudnik hawk,” who as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2006 “made great efforts to knock out antiwar Democratic candidates.” The neoconservatives were and are intimately tied to the Israeli Likud Party with its militant Zionist war agenda for a "new middle east". On Economy: Obama’s advisers are drawn from the same gang of Washington thugs and Wall Street banksters as Bush’s. Consider Obama's support of Lieberman then too, who supported McCain and is another "super-Likudnik hawk" when it comes to Israel and war policy. Get the picture yet? Some very important policies (primary ones) will not "change" at a

POPSWarnings From World Leaders All Within 72 Hours “The problems will always be there and there’s going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21st, 22nd of January that we don’t even know about right now.” Powell told Meet the Press. Why are there so many high level politicians around the world in a seemingly coordinated effort warning of huge threats and developing crisis’ that may include a nuclear device? Are they preparing the masses for an event or series of events that have been in the making for some time? Is the public being prepared for new and forming enemies with a potential to plunge the entire world into war? ----end quote--- A number of notable public figures, to be sure; Biden, Rudd, Colin Powell, Madelaine Albright, Lord West and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner. Taken alone there are plenty of ready explanations, but within 72hrs.? Are there any more recent examples out there?

POPSThe "New-Deal" Mistake It Failed Before and It Will Fail Again Five years into the New Deal, in the winter of 1937-1938, two in 10 were again unemployed. President-elect Obama has said that "the one thing I can say with certainty is that we are going to need a stimulus package passed either before or after my inauguration." The idea, presumably, is that handing consumers a check - pre-Christmas bonus, perhaps - will encourage them to spend. Businesses will in turn benefit and then spend themselves. THE historical model that the Democrats are choosing to hold up as they ponder our financial crisis isn't Harry Truman's Fair Deal or Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. It is Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. At least three economic reforms under discussion now were also central in the New Deal package. Trouble is, these reforms didn't necessarily work well when they were first tried - and some failed outright.

POPSConned Again My despondent friends in the Israeli peace movement ask, “What is this man doing in Obama’s administration?” This is a very interesting article on Obama's choice of staff and if there will be a real change or not.
