POPSFirst Female 4-Star General in USA Military I'm a big believer in freedom of religion. Basically, you either have freedom of religion or you have religious wars. That's why it's an U.S. idea that you can be Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, agnostic, atheist or anything. There can be good and bad in all; and all, even atheist, feel and understand there are 'natural laws,' that ALL cultures have -- like not killing people, stealing, etc. -- You don't need religion to tell you that. So, being Muslim is cool. I'm getting to like their music and Arab woman trilling. And if we want to "change," other people's religions then that should only be done by example - not force. Having said all that, if you get woman out of burkas you can discover many interesting things as well as great contributions to society can be made by them. Freedom produces great boons to mankind. Great energy. Great achievements. Slavery keeps all that in chains. Plus, freedom is a lot more fun.

POPSYard Management with RFID Largest ever yard management project ditches middleware for a location agnostic platform. Goes far beyond what Red Prairie or InSynch claim as it also considers location based services. See http://www.rfidjournal.com/article/view/4278/

POPSMiltant Atheism on the March! Al is back! This label of the militant atheist for nonviolent authors and speakers is asinine mudslinging. So stop using the term already, or else… Please watch the whole thing before inserting the standard "But Stalin..." BS.

POPSPEW Survey Prompts Questions As I noted in a previous clip the PEW Survey claims that 1 in 5 atheists believes in god. I remarked at that time that this simply doesn't make sense. In this clip (and the appended comments) several people suggest reasons why this might have happened.

POPSPotential Paradigm Shift? I am always wary of ideas that glorify computers as the best (and perhaps only true) way to understand the functions of the world and life. However, this one is slightly different from the ones I've seen before, so...maybe?

POPSFood for Thought One statistic that stood out to me was the strange 1 in 5 self professed atheists that claim to believe in God. Atheism is conventionally defined as holding no belief in a god or gods.

POPSthe top 10 least religious countries The survey concluded that "high levels of organic atheism are strongly correlated with high levels of societal health, such as low homicide rates, low poverty rates, low infant mortality rates, and low illiteracy rates, as well as high levels of educational attainment, per capita income, and gender equality. In some societies, particularly Europe, atheism is growing. However, throughout much of the world -- particularly nations with high birth rates -- atheism is barely discernable."

POPSIt's over, and the Democrats win I couldn't clip the entire 13 Keys system in detail and stay under the sharing limit, but check it out in the full article. The only problem with the columnist's analysis is that he forgets to mention that the 13 keys only predict the winner of the popular vote. It doesn't predict the Electoral College winner (and thus doesn't always predict the actual president).

POPSMYSpace Exiles Atheists As this belief in the right to suppress “offensive” speech is coupled with increasingly centralized, private control of both new and old media, it poses increasing and potentially overwhelming threats to free speech. We can
