POPSWhat is Blackwater Doing in Alaska? The Blackwater guards are nominally employed by Chenega, an Alaska Native corporation associated with the Alaskan coastal village of Chenega Bay, population 86. Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, architect of the “Bridge to Nowhere” and recently convicted of a seven-felony string of corruption charges, is one of the principal proponents of the anti-missile system and was also instrumental in writing laws which help secure government contracts for Alaska Native Corporations. Chenega gets contracts through the Small Business Administration, rakes off a percentage, then lets giant Blackwater provide the actual services. Since 2000 Chenega has received over $1.1 billion in sole-source or non-compete bids from the Army, Air Force and Department of Homeland Security. It's good to have friends in high places.

POPSDozens killed in US attack on Afghan wedding party What the hell is going on with our military? The U.S. does not have a reputation for murdering civilians. And yet lately many civilians have lost their lives at our hands. Are we becoming careless? In this age of advanced technology why are we not able to be more precise in selecting our targets instead of just killing everyone and hoping to get the right one. Are we being played by erroneously intelligence for the purpose of making us look like murderous fools? This trend is very disturbing.

POPSIsrael Raids Gaza, Hamas Fires Back "Rocket Attacks on Israel" is what U.S. headlines will read, as if Israel did nothing to provoke this. (Already the radio is painting it as attacks on Israel without the full context). 1. Israel has blockaded Gaza (starving Palestinians) since June 2007 2. Israel violated the cease-fire by their military raid which killed militants on their own side of the border. (What would hypocritical Israel say to Hamas raiding within their border? Do they expect Hamas to disarm within Gaza?) So should Hamas, acting to defend Palestinians in Gaza do nothing? What would you do? So as the American elections close Israel is "setting the table" (agenda) for Obama, playing the victim when they are the aggressor. Note the "drone air attack" Israel used, as does the U.S. within the sovereign country of Pakistan. Drone attacks are cowardly, and aggression made cheap.

POPSU.S. Invades Syria: Kills 1 "Terrorist", 8 Civilians, 3 children
1. invading a foreign country, 2. kill ratio 1:8, as usual, more civilians than alleged "terrorist", 3 of which were innocent children! Is this an acceptable kill ratio to be consider moral and just? Was this: a) "Collateral damage", entirely justified b) gross negligence and murder c) unjust attack and invasion, violating all rules of just warfare and "rules of engagement" (unarmed civilians) d) b and c Consider that this was done with soldiers, not a spy drone, which had to have sited the children in their gun sights for at least a moment, and were firing with gross negligence at anything that moved. Can they tell the difference between children and men? Can they tell the difference between unarmed men (civilians) and combatants? Or is it "just kill them all" because we are afraid, even though we are armed to the teeth? THIS WAS A SLAUGHTER. This was murder and invasion, and done without permission or notice to Syria, which the neocons want war with.

POPSObama Censorship Squad Hits Pittsburgh’s KDKA KDKA-AM 1020 host Kevin Miller was silenced when executive producer P.J. Kumanchik read a CBS statement accusing Miller of being unfairly biased against Obama. “We want to apologize to listeners who have found your show offensive,” Kumanchik said to Miller on the air. In the interview with Corsi, Miller revealed his personal concerns about efforts to silence Obama critics. “Well Dr. Corsi, what scares me is, we’ve seen this from the Obama campaign, that they clearly target people such as yourself, talk radio stations - whether it’s WGN or others or people like myself - that speak out,” he said. “And if elected, we’re going to have a different chorus when it comes to discourse in this country.”

POPSIdeological paradigms for Odinga's and Obama's "Change" campaign in history In any "decent" tyrant's biography, there is a "practice" run...for Herr Hitler it was Guernica...for Obama it was Kenya through his counterpart Odinga in a number of ways.Tyranny(socialism, communism) is forever tweaking itself on the insane notion that "We'll do better next time if it's only done 'right' "...such is the insanity of rebellion against God

POPSImpeached Federal Judge Alcee Hastings' Stupid Rant
Hastings, who is African-American, was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through,” Hastings added as the room erupted in laughter and applause. Let's face it. There is no way a Republican could say anything this foul and still have a career. Then again... There aren't any impeached Republican judges currently serving in the US House. The New Editor has more on this disgusting attack on Sarah Palin by a Democratic leader. To Florida Democrat Rep. Alcee Hastings, people who own guns and hunt apparently hate Jews and Blacks. Seriously. And 'enlightened' people who hear a politician say this react by laughing and cheering. POPSPakistan Orders Troops to Fire Back Against US Insurgents
Pakistan finally reclaims it sovereignty and orders its troops to fire back if US forces or drones violate their border again and attack on their soil (usually killing more civilians than combatants). This is the only way to change Bush policy and now forces Bush (and even Obama who says he would do same) to reconsider the consequences of such actions. Multi-million dollar attacks using Predator drones is cowardly warfare and a clever way to hit and run while never proving who exactly was being targetted and committing gross negligence in regard to innocent civilians. This is also contrary to the principles of Just War which requires solid ID, direct confrontation where opportunity to surrender is offered, and separating civilians from combatants during any attack, instead of this "just kill them all" policy called "scorched earth". There also is no way to identify (after missiles or bombs strike) who the persons really are, or justification to attack.

POPSPakistan orders troops to open fire if US raids This brings up two questions: Is Pakistan for or against helping the U.S. ferret out terrorists? Is Pakistan harboring terrorists and therefore should Pakistan be considered a terrorist state? The U.S. has given the Pakistanis millions of dollars for the purpose of fighting terrorism (and to keep Pakistan on our side) but it appears that this money was ill-spent. We are not getting a very good return on it.

POPSIsrael Wants to Attack Iran, US Military Aid Denied Israel is impotent without the U.S.. They have always used America in their own war agendas. Note the strategic importance in the big picture of Iraqi air space which this Israeli news article mentions! This is just one reason why Israel and the neocon agenda demanded regime change in Iraq, which clears the way for further wars of aggression in the region by Israel, under a pretense of a "war on terrorism" (which both Obama and McCain will continue). Note too that while the US has been somewhat restraining Israel, this is mentioned too: Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, in private discussions, even raised the possibility that the U.S. was considering an attack in the transition period between the election in November and the inauguration of the new president in January 2009.

POPSBush Wants $1 Billion to Georgia for Attacking South Ossetia The NYT finally admits that Georgia was the aggressor: "fighting that began on the night of Aug. 7 when Georgia tried to establish control over a breakaway region, South Ossetia, only to be driven back by Russian forces". And to put that $1 billion figure in perspective the articles says: The aid would dwarf the $63 million the United States provided to Georgia last year, roughly a third of it for training its soldiers, police officers and border guards. Excluding Iraq, the infusion would make Georgia one of the largest recipients of American foreign aid after Israel and Egypt. That Dick Cheney was "sent" by Bush is indicative of the neocon agenda. Georgia did not attack without US or Israeli knowledge, but with their full support. So in essence, the US is to pay $1billion to Georgia for a defeated military invasion and attempt to capture South Ossetia--i.e. for a proxy war.
