POPSMosaics, mosaics, mosaics... I've got a bit of a thing about mosaics and have done a few clips on the subject before. This site is just packed with amazing stuff and is a must see. I've clipped a few of the more unusual items (catflaps, would you believe?) But the site is well worth a visit.

POPSAttack of the killer ravens: Flocks are suddenly slaughtering lambs "Research published last year in the Scientific American also showed the raven to be one of the most intelligent species on the planet - up there with dolphins and apes and, unlike most other birds and animals, capable of learning from their own actions and from observing others' behaviour. They're thought to be one of the few birds that can count, and some have even learned to fashion leaves into special tools for extracting grubs from crevices in trees. In Japan, they were reportedly found dropping nuts onto a dual-carriageway, then darting down to eat them once the cars had cracked them open. Although older ravens (they live up to 25 years) mate for life and travel in pairs, young birds may form flocks of up to several hundred - collective nouns for ravens include an "unkindness", a "conspiracy", and a "murder" - which swoop on farm animals"

POPSπ Pi(π) appears where you least expect it. Coincidentally, Pi Day is also the birthday of Albert Einstein, who no doubt knew more than a little about pi. Pi Day celebrants, usually children with an enthusiastic teacher and a varying degree of personal interest in the subject, learn about pi, circles, and, if they're lucky, eat baked pies of various sorts.

POPSAnybody for Alfred? These are deep-More Than I remember.. Season three is on the site too.. Alfred Hitchcock was very deep I didn't know how much until I saw these Episodes as an Adult.. There are more about the Obstacles in Life than being Scary.. Alfred knew what time it was.. I think were catching up now though.. Please leave a comment & tell me what you think!!!!
