POPSHypocrisy Described in Detail Generally speaking, I am not a big fan of "tell all" books. But when the subject of the book is someone who has exploited religion, deprived a minority group, in this case gays, of their civil rights as well as inciting hatred, then I must admit, my tolerance level for this kind of thing increases. Perhaps I am the hypocrite in this case, but I really feel Haggard had it comin'.

POPSMoving the tempdb database While trying to optimize the performance of some data loads on one of our QA database servers, I decided to move the tempdb to a different disk array hoping that would improve the time it takes to assemble the large set of records to be inserted into a denormalized table. This clip contains the information I used to move the database.

POPSReviews of Spider-Man 3 Prove That Movie Critics Are Snobs
You know, it's funny to me how seriously movie critics take themselves. They watch fracking movies. Then they write about it. I know that they would claim that there are aspects about their jobs that are actually hard, but like any sixth grader, all they are doing is watching a movie and writing about whether they like it or not, using examples to support their thoughts. Movie critics like Richard Roeper and the self-serving, holier-than-thou crew at Entertainment Weekly are a dying breed. With all of the blogs and fansites out there, do their opinions really matter anymore? I feel like these reviewers for Spider-man 3 aren't even in the same league as the target audience. Spider-man has a huge cult following, from fans of the original comic books to fans of the first movies. It will make money, and it seems to be what the people want. Will newspapers, television shows, or websites even PAY people to review media in the next ten years? I would be surprised if anyone did.
