POPSGreenpeace-Forest Law in Argentina The Senate has approved the proposed forest law which halts the cutting down of the forests, and demands that each province (state) set a part a protected area that cannot be cut down, deforested. This will stop the dying of many animal species, and more importantly it will preserve the national forest. These forest are not only part of Argentine heritage but are also important in helping ward off the negative climatic changes.
