POPSBest foods for your heart Spinach can help keep your ticker in top shape thanks to its stores of lutein, folate, potassium, and fiber. Full of fiber and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, a little sprinkling of flaxseed can go a long way for your heart. Top a bowl of oatmeal or whole-grain cereal with a smidgen of ground flaxseed for the ultimate heart-healthy breakfast. Soy Soy may lower cholesterol, and since it is low in saturated fat, it's still a great source of lean protein in a heart-healthy diet.

POPSAmerican Drinking water Ok. Let me understand this...I should not drink professionally bottled water because the plastic bottle is toxic...and now I should not drink the tap water because I could be ingesting pharmaceutical waste? hmmmm...feels like a "pick your poison" situation.

POPSNext They Will Be Singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Weiner" You see, according to their plan I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think; I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder - "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?" I WANT high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I want to smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green Jell-o all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiener".

POPSThrow the Bums Out What doesn't congress investigate? I never did understand why drug companies advertise on TV, but that is their right. I can only guess that it has something to do with the way that the government regulates health care. This fall, if your congressman is running for reelection, do not vote for them.

POPSCholesterol's Benefits. Huh???
In these days of drug mania, where pill popping cures anything from a limp male organ to hair loss. Big Pharma is pumping out the pretty colored gems as fast as the doctors can write out their illegible prescriptions. The money pours across the palms of the execs in media to brainwash the gullibles into believing they need at least 50 pills a day to stay alive and active. Case in point, a local doctor who resides in a rural town thinks nothing of threatening a patient with a "IF YOU DON'T TAKE THIS MEDICATION I AM PRESCRIBING, I WILL CALL YOUR INSURER AND TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE DELIBERATELY RISKING YOUR HEALTH AND THEY WILL DROP YOU!" Sounds a bit bizarre doesn't it? Well, it really happened. This particular health care provider, prescribes anti-cholesterol drugs like it's going out of style. No Joke! Now studies are proving that we need some cholesterol in our systems, it's enough to make you want to ban Big Pharma's drugs and all the sycophants who do their bidding.

POPSIf you support keeping drugs illegal There more detail regarding summary headings at the site. Prohibition didn't work. There are Billions of dollars in trade generated by anti drug legislation. Because 'drug money' has been given negative associations, particularly regarding pharmaceutical companies tactics. anyone with 'money,' who wants to make money from drugs has to appear to have 'clean hands' Where does that money end up? The Primary responsibility of the DEA, is to make sure the money stays in the country, in 'safe' hands.

POPSMore young Adults on anti-cholesterol drugs No mention of a healthy diet. One Doctor says it is good young people are taking preventative medicines at an early age. No doubt good for drug companies who want to establish a customer base. Of course a healthy diet makes too much sense. Very little profit is seen in people learning to cook their own meals. It's just so easy to eat ribs, burgers, and fries, then take a pill. Perhaps they should include the medication in fast food 'meals'

POPSThe Tyranny of Zealots There's a Washington, D.C., organization, Center for Science in the Public Interest, that some call busybodies, but they are more accurately described as petty tyrants. They've made a list of foods you shouldn't eat. Among them are: Dove and Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Mrs. Field's cookies and McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. If they are successful, you shouldn't be surprised to see a ban on these and similar foods.

POPSMother Nature holds all the secrets If modern man wouldn't have turned away from Mother nature in the first place we wouldn't have half the disease's we do(mainly the evil cancer). When your body has an ache, pain or symptom of something, it doesn't mean take drugs...its a sign that your body is lacking something it needs, something from the earth.
