POPSLet's call bigots... bigots. There's nothing "protected" by passing constitutional amendments that deny rights to a class of Americans. And when you think about it -- that's really what these amendments do.

POPSAvira Anti-Virus Personal ~ Free Anti-Virus I'm using the Premium Avira 30 day trial package which it excellent, but when that expires, I plan to download the free program. The premium program is about $26 US, but has a firewall and automatic updates. Also, there are counterfeit downloads out there, so be sure you download from the official website and look for the red umbrella.

POPSScience breakthrough There is no current reasoning over why matter prevailed over antimatter, but many believe it was the result of asymmetry, and some scientists believe that the ratio of this asymmetry was roughly a billion antimatter particles to a billion and one matter particles

POPSResearch Supports Anti Aging Natural Supplements Anti aging natural supplements are no longer considered to be a health food craze. Today, research has proven that while we are what we eat, our bodies need different types of nutritional support at different stages of our lives.

POPSLiberal Tolerance - Item 234,882 Those who oppose must be crushed. Seems like we see this all the time from the loving and heart-felt supporters of mankind who call themselves "progressives".

POPSBerkeley College:Arabs Attack Jewish Students
Husam Zakharia, who also attacked one of the performers, Yehuda De Sa. The fight was finally broken up by John Moghtader, a senator in the UC Berkelely student organization. Police were called in and arrested Zakharia along with others from his group, charging them with battery. Witnesses said that the Arab students shouted anti-Semitic curses and epithets throughout the incident, calling the Jews “Nazis” and “dogs,” and threatening to kill them. According to one witness, as many as 20 anti-Israel students participated in the attacks. In a statement, the Zionist Freedom Alliance said “we call on state officials, the President of the University of California, the Chancellor, the Dean of Students, faculty, and the student body to take a unified stand against the continued harassment of Jewish and pro-Israel students on this campus, particularly by members of Students for Justice in Palestine,” the anti-Israel group whose leaders began the incitement and attacked the concert goers.

POPSUh, who said that? "those who saw... may wonder..." Come on, name a few names. Please don't ascribe opinions to vague groups of people -- who may not even exist. I for one, see the Obama presidency as a clean break from the anti-science, self-interest-driven Bush years. Exaclty what he does and how he does it, I will leave to his creative genius. Along with the smart, ethical, capable and humane people he picks for advisors no matter whom they worked for previously.

POPSMormon's Tipped The Scale I guess there is a way to justify denying human beings the same rights as everyone else and that is to call it "pro-marriage" and not "anti-gay". Of course it's a clever play on words to describe a bigot but what else is new? If the Mormons and other small minded individuals are really interested in saving the institution of marriage they would forget about same-sex unions and focus their efforts on divorce.

POPSGreenpeace shifting focus to dialogue in anti-whaling campaign
Whaling is a barbaric murderous business and besides the moral implications of killing our friends, great beautiful, graceful, air-breathing, large-brained, socially sophisticated, singing, communicating animals, whaling is just contributing to the more dangerous human impact on killing the oceans. When we finish killing the oceans thru our pollutions and overfishing, we'll be dead. Brutal humanity is disgusting to some of us but not apparently to some here in this forum (Japan Today) and in Japan, Iceland and Norway. Thank the Sea Gods for Sea Shepherd and Capt. Paul Watson who will be In the Southern Ocean aboard the "Steve Irwin" to confront the Whalers again. I have no quarrel with Greenpeace, corporate PR is their forte and they have the $$ for it and they weren't all that effective stopping the whalers anyway, just taking pictures and grandstanding in style, which is OK--it brought some attention to whaling but I have much more respect for Capt. Watson and his dedicated crew in
