POPSBerkeley College:Arabs Attack Jewish Students
Husam Zakharia, who also attacked one of the performers, Yehuda De Sa. The fight was finally broken up by John Moghtader, a senator in the UC Berkelely student organization. Police were called in and arrested Zakharia along with others from his group, charging them with battery. Witnesses said that the Arab students shouted anti-Semitic curses and epithets throughout the incident, calling the Jews “Nazis” and “dogs,” and threatening to kill them. According to one witness, as many as 20 anti-Israel students participated in the attacks. In a statement, the Zionist Freedom Alliance said “we call on state officials, the President of the University of California, the Chancellor, the Dean of Students, faculty, and the student body to take a unified stand against the continued harassment of Jewish and pro-Israel students on this campus, particularly by members of Students for Justice in Palestine,” the anti-Israel group whose leaders began the incitement and attacked the concert goers.

POPSThe Ghoul's Glossary: the 2008 Election Withdrawal: A way to avoid the worst consequences of a moment of pleasurable conquest, which, however, often comes too late to avoid years of support payments. Youth vote: The expectation that 21-year-olds will save the nation from the folly of their elders, in preference to gulping shots from the navels of hot barmaids during a Tuesday happy hour. Zionism: The theory that because Nazis hated Jews, the latter would be much better off all gathered together on disputed land in the midst of 300 million Arabs and Iranians.

POPSIraq on the brink of another Civil War
Whenever and wherever a despot has died and left a country in political limbo, that country has had problems. When Spain and Portugal went through their Nemesis in the 70's and 80's, they had stable European neighbours to call on. Of all the deaths that threatened stability, it was perhaps only Franco who had made provisions for his demise and reinstalled a King to give the population a focal point. Tito made no provisions at all and the result was the worst form of Civil War imaginable, with, one has to remember, the defining of Ethnic Cleansing. Those countries were safe for law abiding people. Armed policemen patrolled most streets and their form of rule and law prevailed. The soft minded liberals infested the emergent countries with wholly unattainable ideals. Ideals that do not even work in a stable democracy like Britain. Why does Liberalism not work? Because there are those out there who wish us harm and the Liberal Elite cannot conceive such a truth.

POPSPakistani security forces said to secure Loisam area Tribal sources said the militants from Loisam used to easily travel to Nawagai Tehsil on one side and Nawapass in Charmang on the border with Afghanistan on the other side and similarly to Mamond via Bhai Cheena and Banda. Similarly, the militants were using it as an easy route to the adjoining Mohmand Agency via Ambar and Sarlara areas.Maulvi Omar, a spokesman for Baitullah Mahsud-led banned TTP, had once remarked that they would die but never allow Loisam to fall to the troops.

POPSIsraeli's Attack Palestinians During Harvest (again) I like the idea of just nuking people off the face of the earth or killing them all outright in other ways. This slow starvation of over a million and a half people in the Gaza Strip -- in front of the eyes of the world - is distressing to hear about. To make promises of peace year after year and they to keep expanding Israeli settlements is slightly sickening. We want peace: grab more land. We want peace: grab more land, etc. To regularly, every season, attack Arab families who are trying to harvest their crops, I find rather disgusting. Can't the Jews just wipe all these Arabs off the face of the earth a bit faster, then we can all get back to the concerns and real interest of our own nations?

POPSMcCain: Obama's not an Arab - he's decent! You can bet that will be heard around the world. Making peace with Arab nations just became harder. On the other hand, Arab-American voters (in the millions, and in swing states) just moved out of "undecided."

POPSNow Obama a Big Spender; Baby Killer
Divide & Conquer; Divide & Conquer...after the apparently failed effort to link Obama to Arabs, Muslims and "domestic terrorism," the new McCain-Palin pitch is on the sensitive and difficult topic of abortion, appealing to their evangelical Christian moralist base. Again and again I've been reminded of the words of an American writer, way back in the 1930's -- "When fascism comes to America, it will come carrying the flag and the cross." (Sinclair Lewis) It's a sad, sad issue; it's not something anybody really wants, like saying: "Wow, I want to go out today and have an abortion!" No,-- the Average Person -- the average person wants to do something like go out and buy a car, go out and have a nice meal, go out and get high, go out to the movies or a concert, go out and meet some cool people or cool person. IMO, it comes down to this: We should not be making laws to enforce our religious views on others. Using this as another "social values" issue is the real horror he

POPSNasrallah: Palestine, from sea to river, entirely Arab property From his own lips he proclaims the plans and intentions of the Muslim/Arab world of the Middle East. Take the blinders off, appeasers. He's serious and all the peace talks, initiatives, plans, meetings, etc...will not change their goal. No Israel. No Israelis. period. What more can he say??

POPSIn praise of a brave woman-Nadia Hilou She won't be silenced when children are murdered. She won't be silenced when a Christian minority needs educational support. She won't be silenced when a family is in need - Christian, Muslim or Jewish. And, she won't be silenced by extremists who criticize her because she is a Palestinian working from inside the Israeli system with a mainstream Israeli party doing more than pandering to political emotions. Nadia Hilou threatens the status quo in the Arab community and especially its leadership

POPSAn Outrage in Iraq Unless Arabs and Israelis enter into dialogue with one another, there is no prospect for peace in the Middle East. Yet here is a man, a visionary man apparently, who grasps this truth but will be punished for it by the "democratic" government in Iraq. This is an outrage.

POPSEuropean Ignorance about America "The majority of Britons believe that since the Second World War, the United States has more often sided with non-Muslims than with Muslims. In fact, in 11 out of 12 major conflicts between Muslims and non-Muslims, Muslims and secular forces, or Arabs and non-Arabs, the United States has sided with Muslims and/or Arabs." "But Britons are not the only Europeans who hold unbalanced views of the United States. Take Germans, for example. The majority of them believe that America poses a greater threat to world peace than does Iran. This after the United States helped Germans rebuild their country after World War Two and then provided for their defense during five decades of the Cold War." "according to a recent poll of Berlin youth, only one-third of the city’s 15- to 17-year-old students know who built the Berlin Wall. Almost 14 percent think it was built by the Allies; two percent believe it was built by the United States."

POPSStrip of Iraq 'on the Verge of Exploding' Cont.... The long-cherished dream of many of the world's 25 million ethnic Kurds is an independent state that encompasses parts of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. All but Iraq adamantly oppose Kurdish autonomy, much less a Kurdish state. Iraqi Kurds continue to insist they are not seeking independence, even as they unilaterally expand the territory they control in Iraq.

POPS'Muslim Massacre' video game (you couldn't make it up) article continues: But Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of The Ramadhan Foundation, Britain’s leading Muslim youth organisation, said that the game glamorised violence against Muslims whether or not it was satirical. “Encouraging children and young people in a game to kill Muslims is unacceptable, tasteless and deeply offensive,” he said. “There is an increase in violence in this country and some of it comes from video games. When kids spend six hours a day on violent games they are more likely to go outside and commit violence. “If it was the other way around, with a game featuring Muslims killing Israelis or Americans, there would be uproar and rightly so. “We would urge ISPs to take action against sites like this.” The game was first released in January this year, but has become more popular in recent days after being linked to by several prominent blogs.

POPSHow Rumors Become Conventional Thinking "There are Arabs who hate America, a lot of them, but this is too much,” Mr. Abbas said as he fidgeted with his cellphone. “And look at what happened after this — the Americans invaded two Muslim countries. They used 9/11 as an excuse and went to Iraq. They killed Saddam, tortured people. How can you trust them?”
