POPSArod still a Yankee!! Wow. Sometimes in life things have a crazy way of playing themselves out. After all this craziness, Arod will now be a hero to yankee fans. I can tell you this much...i totally ripped on him when he opted out...now i'm saying "welcome back!!"

How could the Yanks miss so badly. This decision could haunt them for years. Yes, Girardi is a smart baseball man and a great teacher/motivator of young talent. But, he is not favored by his contemporaries and this hiring also tells me that there is possibly worse news to come: Rivera, Posada, and possibly Petitte will follow Arod out the door. See you in 4 years when the youngsters mature...

POPSA-Rod walks out on Yanks...See ya!! Hey Alex...don't let the door hit you on the way out!! As a Yankees fan, i couldn't be happier to see this self-centered loser go. I've always felt like he plays as though he's watching himself in the mirror...the way he left sealed the deal for me. He literally choose the 5th inning of the world series to make his announcement. He has no respect for the game...it's just about him. There is a reason he has never won a world series...he is too much about self. For the yankees to get back to their classy, winning ways, the first step was to get rid of Arod. I'm glad he did the team this favor.
