POPS The California wild fire scam -- Suppressed techology Why did we refuse it then? Did politics and historical animosity get in the way of saving our land, our animals, and our homes? They include the destruction of four homes under construction in Washtenaw and Macomb counties and an attempted arson at an Ice Mountain bottled water pumping station in Mecosta County, all in 2003. Mason will not be charged with those incidents, but they could affect her sentence. The U.S. attorney's office agrees not to seek more than 20 years in prison but could appeal if U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney goes below 15 years.

Since Russia’s invasion, its forces have been “cleansing” Georgian villages in both regions – including outside the conflict zone – using arson, rape and execution. Human rights groups have documented these actions. It hopes the west will forget ethnic cleansing in Abkhazia drove out more than three-quarters of the local population – ethnic Georgians, Greeks, Jews and others – leaving the minority Abkhaz in control. Last week Vaclav Havel, the former Czech president, put us on alert: “Russia does not really know where it begins and where it ends.” He noted that the Moscow regime is “a lot more sophisticated” than the Soviets under Leonid Brezhnev. He should know – he was on the front line the last time Russia invaded a European country. Backing Georgia with Europe’s political and financial institutions is a powerful response. The most potent western response to Russia is to stay united and firm by providing immediate material and political support.

POPSAnother Military Wife Killed by her husband...this is from my home town and we have had too many wives killed by their military husbands...just abusing them isn't enough, Oprah brought that to light on her show. Either they are crazy from the beginning or the military does it to them...I say mostly the military and what they experience in war, but thats no excuse....

POPSFort Bragg Soldier Missing After Fire At Her Apartment According to WRAL, Mrs. Wimunc had sought a protective court order in May, claiming that her husband "held loaded 9mm to my head; choked me. Threw me around living room" and also that he had threatened to take his own life, claiming that he "also held gun to his own head." Police have described the fire that consumed much of Wimunc's apartment to the media as an arson and various television reports say that fire investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms were on the scene on Friday as well. POPS COPENHAGEN INTIFADA DAY 5::ARSON AND VANDALISM Last nights crimes in Kokkedal, Nivå, Birkerød, Farum, Brønshøj, Ballerup, Glostrup, Gladsaxe, Ishøj, Greve, Hundige, Ringsted, Kalundborg og Århus began at 10 pm and were coordinated by SMS. My own reading of the situation is that this is an attempt by the drug-dealing Islamo-thugs to overburden the state and raise the price for domestic tranquility. Everything else is just oil on the fire.
