POPSBartiromo v. Burnett (I suspect like most men who have CNBC on in the background of the office most of the day) I spend a good portion of the day pondering the Maria Bartiromo v. Erin Burnett question. I think I come down in the Bartiromo fan club. I just think Bartiromo knows her stuff better. I can't point to anything specific. But every now and then you're watching Erin and Jim Cramer, and Cramer goes off on one of his rants, and then Erin asks some odd question that doesn't have much to do with the rant. Maybe she's just trying to bring him back under control, but sometimes I think she doesn't really know what he's talking about.

POPSChris Matthews' Russert Eulogy: Like a Belch in Church In an uncharacteristic moment of staggering truth, Mr. Olbermann then paraphrased news doyen Barbara Walters in noting, "This is a loss for the country. This is a loss in terms of the ability to get information from an honest broker -- someone who managed a neutrality that the rest of us dream of, perhaps. How big is that gap that we have now seen opened today...How big is the loss, and how on earth is the American public going to fill it in terms of getting the information it needs for the vital choices ahead?" Mr. Matthews wisely dodged the query, perhaps because the answer is painfully obvious. Having the Olbermann-Matthews dynamic duo discuss this valid question would qualify as satire of the highest order.

POPSBarbara Walters Criticizes Christmas Card Walters laments "Don't you think it's a little interesting,” continued Walters in her questioning, “that the president of all the people is sending out a religious Christmas card?" Why wouldn't the President of all people send a greeting from the GOD of all people? Jesus did not come to save just Christians He came to save all mankind. That includes the Muslims, Jews, Greeks, Atheists, Deists and any other religious or secular group of people in the world. To me it only makes sense that the universal God should be presented all of mankind considering that is what Christmas really is all about. God sent the very first Christmas card when He sent His son to be born in a manager. Emmanuel God is now with man. All men whether they believe in Him or not He still loves them and still reaches out to them.

Of all the candidates in the debate, not one of them took a commercial flight or even shared a jet to help cut down on fuel and emissions. They each took their own separate jet plane to get there. They said this way the breeze would cool the earth. I’m not buying it.

POPSConservative Haters Expose Themselves Oh Boy! I almost didn't clip this because it was so over the top. But I started to read some of the comments and realized that these people, by and large, who commented were so close minded and unintelligible that they needed to be exposed for the bigots that they are. I couldn't believe the stupidity of their remarks. Most had absolutely nothing to say except remarks about Rosie's weight. How absolutely ignorant. I'm all for free speech and thankfully that also implies that I have a choice what I read. NewsBusters certainly will not be on my "Favorites List". Blah!!!!!

POPSOwn up, goddamnit. I don't care one way or the other, honestly, what they do. But for the love, "it gets said?" that's even worse than "mistakes were made."
