POPSU.S. and Allies Torture Kids in Iraq Prisons Former President Carter wrote that the Red Cross, Amnesty International and the Pentagon “have gathered substantial testimony of torture of children, confirmed by soldiers who witnessed or participated in the abuse.” UNICEF was “profoundly disturbed” by reports of abuse of children in Iraq prisons. “Any mistreatment, sexual abuse, exploitation or torture of children in detention is a violation of international law,” UNICEF spokesman Damien Peronnaz said. Not surprisingly, “One of the biggest complaints (by Iraqis) is that the vast majority of (U.S.) detainees have not been charged with any crime,”

And I'm also saddened when no one stood up for those whom she truly slandered, the Atheists. Who cares if the person she named in the attack is actually a Christian? It's bad form to misrepresent the person, but to discredit the multitude of Atheist and to have no one point out that Atheists are Americans to. I now have to fight the bile rising in my through. Dole, you don't deserve any respect, and Hagan, Sham on you for taking the low road, and not standing up for ALL of the fellow North Carolinians you profess to represent.

POPSFla. social workers dig into own pockets for needy clients this is so sad but so true. i thought if i got my social work degree then i could stop doing this...the acceptance board must have been wondering if i'd lost my mind when i said i wanted to go into social work so i could learn how to help without using my own money among other reasons...
