China Tells Rich Polluting Nations To Change Lifestyle
merrie
by merrie  11-11-2008
China wants technology aid to feature in that pact, which negotiators hope to seal in Copenhagen late next year. Climate officials gathered in Beijing welcomed China's growing activism on the issue but questioned its proposal, especially with an economic downturn draining coffers. "It is undeniable that the financial crisis will have an impact on the climate change negotiations," said Yvo de Boer, who heads the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat. "If we go to citizens under the current circumstances ... and say 'I'm increasing your tax burden in order to pay for climate policy', that might not go down very well," he told Reuters. But Beijing will wait to see what U.S. President-elect Barack Obama offers in greenhouse gas goals and aid before showing more of its own bargaining cards, said Hedegaard. Georgia Claims on Russia War Called Into Question
aklimento
by aklimento  11-7-2008
The war was started at the night of opening Olympic Games in Beijing, when ancient traditions of mankind do requiring to stop any hostile actions anywhere in a world. That did means nothing for challenged medieval vassal, blinded by his grandiose ambitions and brainless geopilitic from overseas. It is the shame Georgian and Russian people, centuries living together in peace and friendship, now become enemies. Who's malicious mind have denigrate them to that low point?

to make them appear higher in protein I don't want my food "appear high" in anything! I want it tasty and I don't want feel myself like shit after consuming it. May be I want too much, but that is it. I asking food experts: Do you know what is a chronic poisoning, when you have virtually no chance to avoid your chunk of targeted "magic bullet" from food producers, manufacturers, packagers and repackagers? How laboratory analyzes become main sign of food quality?

~ ~ ~ ~ Kim Jong Il health watch: brain surgery? ~ ~ ~ ~ As with all KJI-related stories, treat this one with a healthy dose of skepticism. Only last Tuesday, after all, Kim was supposedly back to his old hippie-bashing ways. But it is appearing more likely that Dear Leader has suffered a serious stroke. Reuters has put together a quick list of possible successors. FP contributor and Kim's former teacher Kim Hyun Sik, shared his thoughts here, and North Korean regime expert Ken Gause dove into a few other scenarios here.
