POPSThe Omaha Shooter -- Troubled Teen It was not terrorists, but a troubled teen. Interestingly Bush was in Omaha and had left one hour earlier. Now this is the official story mind you. I have my suspicions about this patsy, his rootlessness, the fact that he killed 8 people all seems like something more going on. Strange events like these should always be questioned. Nevertheless, another example of how Americans have more to fear from each other, than from "jihadists that want to kill us all", but never attempt anything.

POPSTo Standardise Lesson Plans or Not? In China for most of its" modern" history (that is after 1949) a national standardised lesson plans has always been the only way to go,but as of now a similar reformation is being carried out to make lesson plans more flexible and localised with less control directly from the centre department. seems China and the U.S. are interestingly going in opposite directions,I just hope they find the balance and don't go too far.

POPSLuggage Handlers Arrested For Theft Why am I not at all shocked by this? If they're not stealing it, they're usually bashing it around when it's marked fragile. I remember one time sitting next to the window watching them load one of my bags that had a fragile sticker on it. They just threw it in with as much force as they could muster instead of gently placing it in. Sure enough as soon as the plane landed and I got my bag, everything was smashed inside. I learned my lesson after that. (First time flying way back in the early 90's.)
