POPSObama Brushes Off Terrorist Ties, But CNN Digs Deeper... Whoa! If CNN is now searching...and finding...things are coming out that have been deeply buried. Obama is so new to the political scene that most of his ties are recent and knowable. The man's character, his core values, and his concept of our United States are very, very important. Where an Obama Presidency and Administration would lead us could effect our very foundation and security.

POPSAlchoholic Anonymous When Bill Wilson (with the help of Sam Shoemaker) finished what would become the central book for Alcoholics Anonymous in 1938, he never imagined it would have the impact it still has in addiction recovery. Known as "The Big Book," it is in it's fourth edition and is widely circulated through out the world. The Big Book holds within it the central thesis and ideas of Alcohol Anonymous and the 12 Step approach. It begins with the story of Bill W., anonymously written as is the approach with the 12 Steps in all areas. Most addicts feel that The Big Book is a powerful component to their recovery process and treat it as a sort of "Bible" for addiction recovery. Perhaps some of the more important features of the newer editions are the appendixes, which hold valuable information and points of clarity on the role of spirituality and addiction recovery.

POPSThe Uplift-Weathering Hypothesis "In 1988, Maureen Raymo, Flip Froelich and Bill Ruddiman published the first of a series of papers proposing, and then examining, the hypothesis that the late Cenozoic cooling of climate, the Ice Age, was caused by enhanced chemical weathering and consumption of atmospheric CO2 in the mountainous regions of the world"

POPSLiberate Sarah (lol) Step Two involves Jeremiah Wright. he fact is the only Democrats to win the presidency in the past 40 years -- Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton -- distanced themselves from liberal orthodoxy. Obama is, by contrast, a garden-variety liberal. He also has radical associates in his past. The most famous of these is the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.... Brilliant. In the midst of a Wall Street crisis, and with McCain getting hammered for ignoring the middle class, Kristol wants McCain to talk about the former pastorat Obama's former church. Yeah, that will win voters over. If Democrats are very lucky, McCain will take Kristol's advice.

POPSChoose Your Poison or Go 3rd Party? I think the decision should be easy, I cannot get why so many still will vote for one of the two in the clip, it just makes no sense whatsoever! I hear many say let's vote out of office anyone who voted yes to the $700b bailout, yet BOTH of these two voted yes and those same people are still considering voting one or the other INTO the highest office. Can someone who is doing this, please explain it, thanks.

POPSRemoving a Repossession The effects of a repossession stretch far into the future. Your overall credit score is lowered and you may have difficulty finding financing for a new car (or worse yet, a new home). Fortunately, there’s a bit of light ahead when this happens to you. It is possible to remove a repossession from your credit report! This article shows you how.

POPSPond scum just may save the world Perhaps the answer to fuel needed to feed the world's energy needs with hastening global warming maybe in your neighborhood pond scum. Bill Gates, Boeing and others have invested millions in research on deriving fuel resources from algae

POPSDemocrats Get Ripped for Bailout Bill from Their Own The author is just getting warmed up in this clip. The entire article is worth a look at. (Actually, comparing Obama to Brutus is not a good analogy, for Brutus slew a tyrant Caesar, where Obama aided and abetted the financial czars and the Fed instead of defending the republic). The politics of Obama and the fearful Dems (Pelosi) cannot be overlooked in passing the bailout (even with republicans resisting): He lobbied hard for the bill. He did so, according to some who met with him on Capitol Hill, because he feared that if he opposed the bailout and it triggered a market collapse it could cost him the election. Better to placate the thieves on Wall Street than stand up for the masses of enraged and swindled citizens.

POPS Palin Speaks with Forked Tongue Why do Politicians do this when they know, in this day and age, they will be called to task. At least give people enough credit not to lie when the truth is so easy to discover.

POPSAyers and Obama
The fact that they are now calling Obama a terrorist because of this is outrageous, even given all the facts. Assume that Obama knew Ayers history, so what? Are you going to resign in protest from a charitable board, or refuse to be recruited because 30 years ago the guy recruiting you was a bomber protesting the Vietnam War, gave himself up to the FBI, who (shock and dismay) blew the intelligence so they had no case. That makes you a terrorist? I must be a hardened criminal because I worked on a loading dock once with a guy who I knew was a loan shark. John McCain consorted with financial criminals who stole money from poor retirees who lost everything in the S&L crisis, he must be a criminal too and a thief and someone who would let retirees pensions disappear on purpose. Actually he's also a racist because he accepted an endorsement from a pastor who was know as a racist. No wait, he's a rampant liberal because he consorted and even sposored legislation with Ted Kennedy.

POPSA strong condemnation based on voting record "We face a perfect financial storm,” Kucinich warned. “The elements are the deficit spending for the war of 3 to 4 trillion dollars, the trillion and more tax cuts, the war itself and the lack of serious investment in the country. We are being hollowed out. We are going to see more unemployment and more people losing their homes. With $700 billion we could have made a real investment in the country, in jobs, in infrastructure and in homes. Instead, we got robbed.”

POPSNo Political Sermons?
The good old days when powerful politicians could stomp all over free speech. "The debate over Jones’s bill and Johnson’s amendment reveals once again how confusing and confused church-state jurisprudence is and has always been and will always be. Both sides claim that the other is violating the separation of church and state. Barry Lynn, a minister who is executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, argues that “We just can’t have sermons converted into political advertisements for candidates,” and he warns against using “church collection plate money on an ad telling people” to vote for one candidate rather than another. " Oh come on. Seperating church and state is one thing. Stopping the clergy from making political statements is a whole different and very dangerous ballgame. Are you going to stop the clergy from speaking on immigration? How about speaking out about the plight of the poor? Should they stop making speeches about genocide? I
