POPSbuddha baby flicks "much of Buddhist practice is about the refrain from excess - it is, after all, called "the Middle Path" - that is, it consists of stepping back from the entanglements of emotional attachment and aggressive desire, and understanding how to free oneself from these things by being more mindful and aware of them. Its teachings attempt to make us more human by questioning our usual human reactions."

POPSTen Magnificent Tress I had the chance to stand next to General Sherman more than ten years wago when I visited California. I was truly in awe to see such an amazing living being. Heck, any single tree in Sequoia National Park is a sight to see. Just a gentle reminder to protect the planet, so more of these fantastic trees can grow and be discovered.
