Husam Zakharia, who also attacked one of the performers, Yehuda De Sa. The fight was finally broken up by John Moghtader, a senator in the UC Berkelely student organization. Police were called in and arrested Zakharia along with others from his group, charging them with battery. Witnesses said that the Arab students shouted anti-Semitic curses and epithets throughout the incident, calling the Jews “Nazis” and “dogs,” and threatening to kill them. According to one witness, as many as 20 anti-Israel students participated in the attacks. In a statement, the Zionist Freedom Alliance said “we call on state officials, the President of the University of California, the Chancellor, the Dean of Students, faculty, and the student body to take a unified stand against the continued harassment of Jewish and pro-Israel students on this campus, particularly by members of Students for Justice in Palestine,” the anti-Israel group whose leaders began the incitement and attacked the concert goers.

The suit alleged that Edwards, Hensley, and the Imperial Klans of America as a whole incited its members to use violence against minorities. "The people of Meade County, Kentucky, have spoken loudly and clearly. And what they've said is that ethnic violence has no place in our society, that those who promote hate and violence will be held accountable and made to pay a steep price," said Southern Poverty Law Center founder Morris Dees.

POPSUproar As Top Police Cleared of Attack on Genoa G8 Protesters At least 150 police officers stormed the Armando Diaz school on the night of July 21 2001, after three days of violence in Genoa that left more than 200 people injured and a protester dead. Police chiefs later claimed the school was occupied by the violently disruptive Black Bloc faction. If that is what rank-and-file officers were told, it may explain the viciousness with which they laid into the protesters. Briton Nicola Doherty was hit so hard on an arm with which she was shielding her face that her wrist was broken. The attack put 28 of 93 people arrested in hospital - three of them on the critical list. Mark Covell, a volunteer with the Indymedia news network, was unconscious for 14 hours. He suffered eight broken ribs, a punctured lung and 10 missing or broken teeth.

Social conservatives are threatening to roll out Arkansas-style adoption bans in other states. And the timing couldn’t be worse: in tough economic times, the numbers of abused and neglected children in need of foster care rises. But good times or bad, no movement that would turn away qualified parents and condemn children to a broken foster care system should be considered “pro-family.”

Jewish homes were ransacked in numerous German cities along with 8,000 Jewish shops, towns and villages, as civilians and SA stormtroopers destroyed buildings with sledgehammers, leaving the streets covered in smashed windows — the origin of the name "Night of Broken Glass." Jews were beaten to death; 30,000 Jewish men were taken to concentration camps; and 1,668 synagogues ransacked with 267 set on fire. By the end of the 1920s, most German Jews were loyal to their country, assimilated and relatively prosperous. They served in the German army and contributed to every field of German science, business and culture.

Along with Obama's LANDSLIDE VICTORY, great gains have been won by the Democrats in both the House and Senate -- the greatest gains in over 80 years (since the Great Depression & FDR's election). The Democrats now have a large majority in both the House and the Senate and the White House. It's a sea change. (Note: Because it's part of the story > Some Republican SmearHeads have started to tell the TV audience what Obama should do -- and said that within a few months the Democrats will be fighting among themselves) Other TV pundits told these Republicans they should wake up and smell the coffee, look to see what they could possibly do to put their broken party back together -- that Obama didn't need their advise and there were no difference between the Democratic House, the Democratic Senate and future President Obama. POPSthe speech we wish he gave ok so just in case u can't read the whole article- i felt the need to add this last paragraph of this clip...yep-that pretty much sums W up....and in part describes the blind apathetic eyes we saw the world thru- and just stood by watching this all happen- i am pretty much amazed at the denial a lot of people still have- the ones who bristle when i say he has flat screwed this country and everyone in it except for a priviledged few....( if that's what privilege is.....they can have it....) but yeah- i get the? are u some kind of terrorist?- i just shake my head.....and walk away mumbling to myself....wtf? are some people thinking? and they- some of them are thinking it still? i just don't understand.....
