In April, former Reagan administration official Bruce Fein drafted articles of impeachment in hopes that House Republicans would introduce them. And Rep. . . . Obama’s unauthorized military intervention in Libya is an impeachable offense. Attorney Bruce Fein went so far as to draw up articles of impeachment on the matter. While successfully campaigning to regain his old House seat in 2010, Michigan Republican Tim Walberg said the GOP must be willing to confront Obama “up to and including impeachment.” Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, American Family Radio Network talk show host Bryan Fischer, ACORN expert Matthew Vadum have called the DOMA dereliction impeachable. Former Congressman Tom Tancredo and Constitution Party founder Howard Phillips have called for Obama’s impeachment for refusing to enforce border laws, among other grounds. As long as Obama officials suggest flagrantly violating the Constitution, Republicans must conspicuously remind them of the price they will pay — and elect a leadership that will back it up. POPSBruce Fein: Investigate or Pardon Torture Orderers But Mr President, you have no authority to simply ignore a former Vice President talking publicly about committing a crime. This ISN'T "behind us." Cheney is making sure of it, and when we have another attack, he'll blame Obama for failing to torture unless torture is demonstrably criminal act. Failing to act leaves the question unresolved. And Congressional big shots of both parties may be implicated.

POPSRon Paul's GOP Counter-Convention Continues to get his revolutionary message out that the GOP is way off the mark in regard to their own traditional republican principles of limited government and individual liberty which the neoconservatives have trampled entirely. The popularity of the message cannot be overlooked and demonstrates the latent great dissatisfaction with the presumptive party nominees of McCain and Obama (who is continuing the talk of the "war on terrorism" as if it is a legitimate and constitutional war--see comments on Afghanistan). This might be the year of the greatest number of alternative candidates on the Presidential ticket: Constitution Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party, will probably be on every state ballot.

Fein and the other guest both show Moyers why impeachment is an absolute necessary remedy to prevent further Executive usurpation of unconstitutional powers, in order to prevent "monarchical power" by the Executive, both now and in the future, by EITHER party. The other guest points out that the purpose of impeachment is to prevent revolution or civil war!
