POPSTop Trend-Caster: Prepare for Economic Winter Now! Get ready: He predicts bank runs by Feb. 2009. He is serious and he has been right on the mark in most predictions. His firm is Trends Research (here) and he is exposing the Goverment Lies and Big Banksters corruption. He has been interviewed as an acknowledged expert (which history proves) by such diverse media as CNN, Alex Jones (radio interview tonight), Fox News (where he said there would be a revolution against big government), and MSNBC, and Coast to Coast radio. His firm analyzes as "political atheists", they do not care about either political party, and consider them both corrupt. We forecast a high probability for the government to call a bank "holiday," at which time withdrawals will be drastically limited . Thus, while deposits will be FDIC insured, restrictions will be imposed on withdrawals. Is that why Obama is keeping Bush's new Executive Order for Martial Law upon any "nat'l emergency"?

POPSSec. of State Rice Congratulates Obama
I don't think I've ever seen this woman happy before. Now her words so sincere, and her face aglow. Of course, this doesn't mean she shouldn't be dragged through the mud and thrown off a cliff after she leaves office with the disgraced and nightmare Bush Administration; we have to stop rewarding people for failure -- although I'm sure she get a job teaching grad students at Standford or somewhere. I heard she actually might want to become the head of the National Football Leagure (NFL)!? From Sec. of failed State for George Bush to the head of the NFL!? Well...maybe her happiness will continue after all and she's also ready to leave the nightmare behind. ____ Joy and Happiness everywhere (except a few sour faces & smear tongues here at Clipmarks and elsewhere, who haven't stopped their smear mongering and divisive lies for one second). But, from even inside the Bush White House, to Madonna in rock concerts, to Africa, to Japan, Indonesian, Europe, Down Under & Over

POPS Greater Islamosphere “Therefore, I hope that McCain comes to power, so that the motivation for jihad remains in our hearts, and so that we do not rely on the infidels - to be struck by the fire .” Sorry, not my fault. I wish you could rely on the infidels, too. OK, here’s some racist Iranian rag. In an editorial, the Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami stated: “The most that that black man can do in the White House is to replace some of the staff and change some ceremonial procedures. He will never manage to change the structure of the American regime, which was established by capitalists, Zionists, and racists.” in London. al-Hayat: “The U.S. elections afford a kind of change that does not occur in the Arab ‘democracies’… The faces change in a way that we find impressive. Quick. Which recent U.S. president brought more democracy to more Muslims?

POPSZogby Pre-election Final: Obama 54, McCain 43 Nov 4 poll. Zogby is usually most accurate, we will see. Note that McCain has only 75 percent of conservative vote (even with Palin) , many bailed out on him. Republicans should make a careful note of this. As I clipped previously, McCain lost considerable "conservatives" and "moderates" from his party , and then gets romped by "independents" going to Obama (if this poll holds true). Moral: "If you stand for nothing you lose everything". I also believe the "fear tactics" backfired (while several issues are legitimate, including blatant communistic policies of Obama)--largely because of the LIES OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION casting its shadow over Republicans, which cause Fear tactics to be outright rejected now, without consideration. I received two robo-calls for McCain, one from Robert Duvall and another from a male country performer (Merle Haggard?). Desperate "get out the vote" moves, which people likely hang up on.

POPSPakistanis Protest Obama's Position on bin Laden
There is definitely a problem here: the Yanks are coming. After 8 stupid, irresponsible years and wrong-headed, misguided, corrupt and false reasons, Bush will be out of power. His term of office has been like watching someone fall off a roof. His failure to kill or capture bin Laden is one of the worst failures in all our USA history -- and using deliberately fabricated lies to get us into a black hole in Iraq the second worse failure in USA history. Once he's gone all this crud will be wiped away, erased, throw into the rubbish. The new president - with just one ounce of brain-power will right away realize: 'Oh, the criminals of 9/11 still run free and the whole nation want to kill them (or capture them). Even red, red-necks should realize this gross failure, and stop defending Republican incompetence. Now it's is believed bin Laden is in Pakistan. Sorry about that Pakistan. Turn him over or we're going in to get him ourselves. The Yanks ARE coming. Resist

POPSAn Election Day Note: Thanks, President Bush Me too. I believe he will gladly leave the White House and return to private life to live as a private citizen. I believe he will be sad by what he was not able to accomplish and fearful of what lies ahead for all of us. Since I never read the Daily Kos, Huffington, Salon, or watched CNN, I never saw anything in his conduct as my President to make me ashamed or embarrassed. I believe he is a man who tried to do what was best of us and the US. Sadly, he didn't have much to work with in the other Branch of Government.

POPSFive GREAT Reasons To Vote Against Barack Obama
Let’s think about this one for a moment. FICA, the social security and medicare taxes, are set at 15% of the first $102,000 and then they go away. The employer pays half, unless you happened to be self-employed. In that case, you pay the whole thing. So, if the democrats erase the cap, that is an automatic 15% tax increase on all money earned over $102,000. There will also be the tax increase from allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire. And there will be the tax increase on the “rich”, defined somewhere between $120,000 and 250,000. So, how big will these tax increases actually be? More than 15%, less than 30%? Maybe. Maybe more. Nobody knows because Congress writes the laws. And that means Pelosi and Reid. He has four other terrific and amusing reasons. The courts, the snottiness of the Obamabots, etc. Read it all. 5 Great Reasons To Vote Against Obama ~ by Howie Carr http://www.bostonherald.com/news/columnists/view/2008_11_02_Five_reasons_to_vote_against_Obama/

POPSMcCain says let try that tatic again He's learned so much from the Bushes and when juniors tactics were falling flat lets try something that worked so well for Daddy Bush. My Friends, I'm so sorry I had to go back on my promise but with the continuing presence in Iraq and the new war in Iran I had too. We tried to negotiate in good faith but the Iranians would not meet our precondition of accepting Israeli rule. Oil company profits are dropping because of unexpected expense of offshore drilling and the massive cleanup needed on the west coast, so the taxpayers will have to bail out the oil companies. Sorry my friends. On the positive side my friends in health care insurance industry are posting record profits. Sorry but sometimes Mavericks have to take a detour.

POPSIn a battle of wits his opposition is unarmed. "Next they will accuse me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in Kindergarten." McCain and Palin lack original or critical thinking, no wonder their only tools are lies and fear mongering and repeating Bush's lines. So old, tired and clueless.

POPSWould the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights? http://www.ldsmag.com/ideas/081017light.html I don't get the paper anymore here because of their left leaning bias and I've told them why. The only way we can make the msm behave in a responsible way is to hit them in the pocketbook. They have a DUTY to be unbiased and they are shirking that duty to be purveyors of lies. Did anyone see the Sara Palin interview on CNN? Disgraceful!!! Just the latest from these people.

POPSDid McCain LIE about POW Torture?
Has McCain lived off another Vietnam Lie for all these years? Are the Bush LIES and Deceptions to continue? They dumped a real war hero in Kerry for an AWOL drunkard in Bush. Now will they elect a plane-crashing non-tortured collaborating fraud instead? ... ... I furthermore believe that having been a POW is no special qualification for being President of the United States. The two jobs are not the same, and POW experience is not, in my opinion, something I would look for in a presidential candidate. Most of us who survived that experience are now in our late 60's and 70's. Sadly, we have died and are dying off at a greater rate than our non-POW contemporaries. We experienced injuries and malnutrition that are coming home to roost. So I believe John's age (73) and survival expectation are not good for being elected to serve as our President for 4 or more years. I can verify that John has an infamous reputation for being a hot head. He has a quick and explosive temper th

POPSDivisive politics is anti-American-Olbermann
Good video summary of of the vile and dangerous trash talk of the neocon, neofascist Republican party candidates, officials, and some of their supporters at rallies With thug, un-American tactics they accuse Obama of being 'un-American - and they have done to any other critics of the last eight years of the nightmare of the Bush Administration. What are "un-American," tactics? -- Well, the majority of us think we have the right to speak what we want and not get threatened with death, and the right to challenge leaders who are the real "false patriots," hiding behind the flag or the cross (or David's star). Using words to spread lies, divisiveness, hate and fear is what I'd consider "un-American," I think Bush is a fascist, 4excample, but I don't try to shut down his speaking; I don't threaten his life; I just want to vote him out of office and urge his trial for war crimes. That's using the tool of democracy and seeking justice through the courts.

POPSTortue: Direct Authorizations from White House Revealed
Torture is against Internation law In March 2008 Bush vetoed Congressional legislation outlawing torture. New legislation was later passed officially approving waterboarding & other modes of torture (John McCain voted in favor of this approval) Approving torture and approving totally allowed spying on citizens without specific warrants or reasons are two fatall steps towards full-fledged fascism. This documentation of these White House memos would document Bush/Cheney & other White Houses officials of war crimes OR complicity in war crimes. If these officials can get away with this now, not only does the corruption and descent of our nation deepen now but makes it more probably that such evils will happen in the future. (Having private armies is another classic step down the road to fascism -- like Blackwater, like other "private security contractors.") Ruling by fear and lies, etc. The legacy of George Bush will be that he's the first president to be tried for

POPSFrom "War on Terror" to "War of Terror" This war in Afghanistan's not about avenging the 9-11 attacks or preventing new ones. It's about killing local fighters, who fight to rid Afghanistan of unwelcome foreigners from Christian-majority countries. What began as a "War on Terror" has long since become a War of Terror. The Canadians and Europeans have long since tired of it. So have the American people, despite the failure of the corporate media to expose the Big Lies that Cheney and Bush continue to promote in order to justify their Terror War. Seven years down the road, there's no end in sight. No hope except for the "fool's hope" that public opinion in the imperialist countries, plus the inevitable resistance of the Afghans to foreign control, plus the military judgement that the war is not winnable will bring this "good war" to an end. The whole article is worth reading. Clip Song

POPS$10.2 Trillion: National Debt Clock Goes Bust George Bush's legacy and the cost of war. How appropriate for the Debt Clock to run out of numbers. It's so symbolic, like the clock itself staggered at the number. The figure is absolutely outrageous and completely unjustifiable. And republicans used to be the party of limited instead of Big Government. The consequences are now all coming back. But Democrats should not gloat too much, they had plenty of support for the same spending packages and gave Bush whatever he wanted (fools). The ignorant flag-waving American public now realizes they were pushed into war under false pretenses and lies.

POPSDeja vu! Listen to this 1988 campaign strategy From Maureen Dowd: Lee Atwater's 1988 stategy, created to help Bush smear Dukakis, sounds awfully familiar: "The Democrat was a ’60s-style liberal who would raise taxes and take away guns. He was weak and would not protect the country militarily. He was a member of the elite 'Harvard Yard’s boutique'. He had a foreign-sounding name and was on the side of the Scary Black Man." Let's get over the idea that Republican innuendos are not about race; race scare has been the strategy for years.

POPSJudge Orders Gitmo Prisoners Released!
Thank God. Seeing my country involved in arresting people without cause, not allowing them legal representation, communication with family, no visits from the International Red Cross, not giving them their day in court, holding them for 'indefinite detention," keeping them imprisoned -- in this case -- for seven years -- and documented torture and abuse of such prisoners -- it's all pretty disgusting. And more disgusting that these prisoners were also used for propaganda about how these alleged evil men were out to harm us. And disgusting that thick-headed rednecks, neocon neofascist, and other warmongers went around waving flags about all this and claiming "God was on their side." -- and accusing us as the one's being 'unpatriotic,' when we were the most patriotic of all. What sickness! What lies! DEFEAT ALL REPUBLICANS is now Step #1 Step #2 is seeing Bush and Cheney in jail; and all those who aided and abetted their crimes. The good news? -- this can be done.

POPSSocial injustice breeds extremists
You can't truly say he's about love. It is wrong for him to want a nation for 7.2 million to be destroyed. That would only cause another refugee crisis if not countless deaths as we are seeing in Iraq. One cannot speak of love and totally demonize a nation of people. The reason his extremist point of view is accepted instead of opposed though is because he keeps pointing out injustices in order to justify his extremism. If we were to solve the Israeli-Palestinian issue and others once and for all, extremists like him would not have as much support. People of all sides who want peace need to unite and push for social justice so injustice does not breed extremists. From this clip you know there is people on both sides and in the US who want peace once and for all: http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/9537C8CD-538E-4BF3-AA9B-D28EAACF6463/ I'm an American and I do not want my own country to collapse. POPSIran's leader says 'American empire' near collapse Watched his speech and I have to say the man speaks more of love, God, and peace then either the Israeli leader, bush or the pope -- and again just like other leaders that America says are bad he speaks more truth than lies.. I believe the reason our Govt. hates him and Chavez is because they can't control neither both are self sustaining with oil reserves. And he's smarter than bush to boot! And if things keep going the way they are he's right! The greed of a few has bought us to our knees. I can't believe that Obama had to bring up the idea that the American tax payer should reap a portion of any gains from the near trillion lend.. Shouldn't that have been in the proposal from the start -- which tells me they just want to save themselves so they can start all over again!!
