Palin Won't Give Interviews Until Campaign Is Ready
lap322
by lap322  9-7-2008
Oh, the ARROGANCE! We've had eight years of arrogance from BushCo, which was quite enough. The only reason the media "focused" on Bristol Palin's pregnancy is because Sarah Palin is a staunch advocate of "abstinence only" education - and her daughter is a perfect example of why that type of "education" does NOT work. And if Davis wants to whine about objective journalism, what about the media frenzy over Obama's pastor, the flag pin non-issue, etc etc etc. If she wants to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency, she had better start answering to the people of the United States. And if she's being so secretive and arrogant now, while just a barely-known candidate, imagine what she would be like if (God forbid) she were to become POTUS? Hell YEAH she's scared to answer to the people! Prove us wrong, beauty queen.

masbury
by masbury  8-25-2008    4
National Security Archive reports the Bush-Cheney White paper "justifying" the invasion was developed a full three months in advance of the intelligence data and analysis that should have served as the basis for that justification; then doctored NIE report to agree with their own White Paper. Only imminent threat mentioned was the possibility of Iraqi terrorism in USA if Saddam regime was threatened - but Bushco deleted it before giving the report to Congress.

ridiculous "stimulus package," a last-ditch BushCo effort
papananook
by papananook  2-15-2008
Not having the disposable income of a hip young columnist/yoga instructor but still accumulating crap--ill-fitting clothes given by well-meaning e-wives, odd freaky books, tapes and assorted junk sent by friends who haven't a clue to my spartan eclectic taste--it becomes necessary every once in a while to do "the material plane shuffle" and sell, give away or dispose of the odd small air conditioner used in Alaskan summer, the unused DVD/CD player and the books on foreign policy by Henry Kissinger. With any luck, I can trade for a nice over-sized silk Hawaiian Aloha shirt, the gaudier, the better. But I still don't even know what an iPod is and don't WANT to know. ENOUGH STUFF! How can one evolve with all that crap holding you down?

You Get The Government You Deserve
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  1-11-2008    9
The elections don't just concern Americans. The whole world is in the murderous grasp of the evil American BushCo regime and their bogus "War on Terror". They have deceived their allies and they have murdered millions of innocent people around the world. They sure didn't deserve it! Everyone around the world is watching what you do now. Twice, you put Bush in office and twice, you let him stay there. Patriot Acts, MCA 2006, renditions, torture, secret prisons, lies, wars, surveillance, Gitmo... It has to change. The faces and names in office may change, but make sure the dictatorial laws change too. These elections, DEMAND change! If not, then the US really will get the government they deserve...

Latest Jazz by the DuD and Presidunce's Press Secretary
papananook
by papananook  11-25-2007
A letter i wrote to my local paper: (see the site to join action) After listening last week to the whining of the spokesman for the Pentagon and the Presidunce's newest propangandist press secretary, I began to wonder if they really thought the awakening USA public is as stupid as they think. Their false message that they don't have the money to "support our troops" is so bogus it crosses the line to ridiculous. If they can pay the hundreds of thousands of mercenaries like Blackwater's exorbitant salaries and bonuses, then perhaps it's truly time to end this fiasco in Iraq and bring the troops home now, end the killing of innocents, and find new priorities for the billions of wasted taxpayer dollars. And to the deep-voiced idiot, who claimed to work for the DoD, who called me at home and harassed and threatened me after my last letter--You don't scare me, buddy, you disgust me. We STILL have freedom of speech in this country, DON'T WE? Keep your jazzbo threats to yourself. Since
