POPSAffiliate Marketing.. I looked this up because I wanted to make sure I understood what "affiliate" marketing meant. I think the premise is if I am going to evangelize a product then making me an affiliate is a way for a company to reward me for it.

POPSThe 3 C's of Affiliate Marketing Evolution Russell Brunson repeated that Commission Bump is what Affiliate Evolution is all about. Commission Bump is about getting high commissions that we get or make for every product or program we sell. Actually, the business model was based on some affiliate marketing programs that has become effective.

POPSThe Note That Makes Us Weep
More: But the high C has a more visceral, spine-tingling lure. “The reason it’s so exciting to people is, it’s based on the human cry,” said Maitland Peters, chairman of the voice department at the Manhattan School of Music. “It’s instinctual. It’s like a baby. You’re pulled into it.” When a tenor sings a ringing high C, it seems, “there’s nothing in his way,” Mr. Peters said. The pitch, in itself, has a satisfying quality. The key of C major, after all, is a stable, cheerful, happy key, the one with no sharps or flats. Fascination may also derive from the fact that high tenor notes are somewhat freakish. Women have high voices, and men have low voices. For a male to sing that high with such power somehow seems unnatural. With one important exception: through the 18th century, the most celebrated singers were castrati, boys altered before puberty who grew into men with powerful high voices. Un-altered tenors rarely got higher than an A without singing falsetto. Many of the

POPSLuciano Pavarotti Has Died Luciano Pavarotti has died in his home in Medina Italy, at 5 AM local time. I never got to see Pavarotti perform, but I have been lucky enough to see Paul Potts live and to see and hear the thundering singing of a truely gifted tenor is an absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience. Rest in Peace Pavarotti.

POPSSex Sells & You won't succeed without it: Darling C's collage on media & women
Today's American culture stresses heterosexuality. When looking at women, we notice that in order to attract the opposite sex, they need to make sure their looks are appealing to what men want. This begins at early age. An article by Mary Rogers, entitled "Hetero Barbie?," mentions the influence of Barbie on young girls. With the Barbie image, girls are taught how to dress and style their hair, all in the hopes of attracting a man. The collage above demonstrates these images in adult women as they are portrayed in the media. When reading a fashion magazine, there are tips on how to apply make-up, what to wear for the new season, and how to keep a man. Sometimes I wonder if women are ever allowed to simply be themselves and maybe sport a natural look. That would definitely be a crime in the fashion industry. Sex sells. The television shows, magazine photos, and musical references above show us that if a woman does not have sex appeal...

POPSMayor's Plea: Turn Down the AC! New York isn't the only state that is being asked to conserve. Lower southeastern MI was told that our reserves are lower than they like to see. We're being asked to utilize major appliances after 8pm or before 1pm. Includes washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc. We've been asked to pump the AC up 10 degrees higher so it isn't running constantly; and to pump it up 5 if we're home. They've already browned out some areas by turning off traffic lights, so some less busy intersections become 4 way courtesy stops. And traffic accidents up the yazoo. You'd think it had snowed 5 feet. jeesh. We've also had 2 ozone action days. No gas lawn mowing, no gas fillups until dawn, don't drive if you don't have to. Stuff like that (for those that don't know what some of these mean).
